SIDE A.)
I.) MOUTH PLOW:
Extreme Harsh Noise greets you like a sadistic, dripping Glasgow smile.
As uncomfortable as a crazed dentist drill grinding your teeth as they
become dust and debris."Mouth Plow" hits you right in the face right from
the start. It sounds like a bulldozer recklessly dragging it's front in through
a crowded busy street.Scraping into the pavement and ripping out the asphalt. For
a time harsh distorted rhythms become steady loops that sound like the grows and
roars of crudely made mechanic animals.Fierce and ever ready to pounce as it paces
back and forth to the beat of it's own maniacal drum. This creates a heavy sense of
tension and begins an eerie build up that makes you anticipate what may come next in
fear and frustration.Better guard your pretty little chompers cause RICHARD RAMIREZ
has come to pull teeth."Mouth Plow" is a bite sized meal with a squeal! High ringing
feedback whines like whirring instruments of torture and heavy undercurrents moan and
rumble until everything drops into an almost soothing hum as feedback drones like the
drip of a strong drug in your veins.Washed out static and harsh noise blasts come breathing
through your speakers...Soon after distorted spoken vocals are heard obscured in painful
bursts of noise like the drifting words of sadistic surgeons as they casually rip you the
fuck apart. Some people choose to start shitty garage bands...Others put their pedals to
good use.RICHARD RAMIREZ is one of the others.

SIDE B.)
II.) STAG REEL PART II:
This one just yearns to be heard...and after what I listened to before I can tell
you it deserves it."Stag Reel Part II" begins with feedback for a few seconds and
then blasts your ears with a second helping of brutal and relentless harsh noise.
The Bulldozer is back, baby!!! I'm really loving all the different transitions.
RICHARD RAMIREZ seems to be totally in the zone with the pedal effects and distorted
onslaughts. All over the knobs but with them under his control and knowing their fucking
place.Textures build and form a solid backbone in the background giving you a surreal
and very violent sound that surrounds the listener like a ass of pissed off wasps. There's
never a dull moment with on this tape...Of course there are slow moments to build anticipation
and add a feeling of suspense but it never lasts long enough to leave you feeling bored.Scraping
metallic grinding aggression that can be compared to the sound of dragging a tail pipe across broken
glass and gravel. It is truly inspiring to hear how RICHARD RAMIREZ can make his electronics have a
personality all there own.Noise is an art form and RICHARD RAMIREZ is a true artist. An architect of
sound...Like a treasure hunt in a giant junkyard. So much to discover here that repeated listens are
absolutely necessary.Pure harsh noise to obliterate the world around you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR FANS OF: CUSTODIAN..HANATARASH..MACRONYMPHA..
CREATION THROUGH DESTRUCTION..EN NIHIL..ETC

7/10
