SIDE A.) RAPE-X

I.) THESE DRUGS AREN'T WORKING /
II.) COST / III.) PEP TALK / IV.) KILLING IS EASY:

Get ready for about twenty minutes of pain with the
RAPE-X contribution to this split between two of the
dirtiest sounding bands in Power Electronics.RAPE-X
are like the P.E. equivalent of all that fucked up and
perverse Grindcore out there filling peoples heads with
tunes filth,lust,rape and murder...Only RAPE-X sound a
lot worse (In the best possible way!) Here they present
us with four tracks of pure audio bile that would make
your parents disown you and cause your grandparents to
go into a foamy mouthed fit all the way to the grave. We
start with ascending electronics that climb up out of the
sewer and reach out to drag you back down with them.
Hits of static and violently screamed vocals back up the
claim that the drugs are no longer working. These guys
keep it short and pissed the fuck off.Track two starts out
with a weird low rumbling electronic pulse and echoing
vocals that boom in your ears. This reminds me of a more
Lo-Fi SUTCLIFFE JUGEND.Lyrics regarding kidnappings
and all the fun that comes with em.These guys are pure
rage and agression...One of the angriest P.E. bands you
will hear and that's saying a lot."Pep Talk" is a gnarly lil
number of warped phasers and weird ass wet sounds along
with harsh static and harsher vocals. You know those neighbors
you hear fighting at three in the fucking morning? Those dudes
that come home in a drunken rage and throw lamps at their wives?
Well imagine if that dude was the vocalist of a seriously deranged P.E.
band and you'll have an idea of what RAPE-X sounds like. The final track
on the A side is my personal favorite.Huge blasts of distortion in crushing
waves. They form a Martial Industrial type of rhythm and utterly annihilate
everything in their path.Spoken word samples are thrown in the mix to back
up the statement that "killing is easy." This most certainly kills and is one of
my favorite releases featuring these guys so far.

SIDE B.) SWOLLEN ORGANS

V.) DON'T FUCKING MOVE / VI.) BURDEN /
VII.) DEAD GAZE / VIII.) SEX LIMP:

SWOLLEN ORGANS is a working class Power Electronics project
fuelled by rage and the types of thoughts that build during a hard
day on the job. This right here is the true voice of America boys and
girls. We begin with grinding electronics on the extreme side of Lo-Fi.
The vocals sound totally fed up and come as asphyxiated gasps in a tone
of pure desperation.SWOLLEN ORGANS makes P.E. for people who have
just reached that state past the breaking point where all caution is discarded
and the guns are pointed.Rhythmic noise begins and sounds like a mechanical
workhorse carrying the burdens of countless fuck ups and tossing them into a
meat grinder. The fucks that were once given have ran dry and this is mirrored
by the sandpaper dry vocals which come in raspy shouts.High anxiety at the very
height of insanity. This isn't the heaviest stuff out there but it is really harsh in terms
of quality and delivery. This stuff is like sand in a fresh wound. It grinds every gritty
truth of reality until it's a fine powder and then throws it in your face. There is a pretty
good balance of distortion, rhythm and high end torture. All of this accompanied and
complimented by some truly strung out sounding vocals. Each track is short and to the
point.Gets in...Fucks shit up...Then gets the fuck out.The final track on the B side is a
neat one.Rumbling sub-bass rhythms and low and deep spoken vocals.strange sounds
slice through your senses and threaten your comfort as perverse lyrics are recited like
an unappropriate bed time story.I recommend listening to this when you need to unwind
from a hard day and let all the bullshit of the world slowly melt away.Noise that sounds
like creaking wood along with pulsating electric lazers in rapid fire close the track and
the split as well.

A GREAT PAIRING OF TWO ARTISTS WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK THEIR
MINDS THAT DO SO ALONG TO A SOUNDTRACK OF STATIC AND SHRAPNEL.
WELL WORTH AQUIRING A COPY OF AND SURE TO SEE HEAVY ROTATION
AND REPEATED LISTENS:

7.5/10
