I.) LITTLE SISTER:
So what we have here is one track.A nearly twenty minute collaboration
between the Harsh Power Electronics act RAPE-X and well respected
noisemonger Matt Rositano.This differs greatly from a lot of what RAPE-X
have done in the past and spends much of it's time focusing on a much more
dense and minimal sound."Little Sister" begins with low rumbling noise that
forms decayed rhythms as whispered vocals are heard echoing between the
empty spaces.Semi-distorted spoken vocals and sampled voices lurk and
creep around this shadowy realm.It feels like you are listening to recordings
of something that was meant to stay hidden.Like a murder confession done
soley for the killer's ears to hear.Like a personal record or audio diary.The
sounds here shift like sand in the wind and this entire peice feels just as
cold and desolate as a day spent in an empty desert.In this case that day
was most likely spent hiding a body or two far from prying eyes.There is
a sense of dread that fills this track.It's similar to the slower and creepier
tracks of NICOLE 12...Not quite Death Industrial but a little silent for P.E.
Shambling sub-bass movements crawl as the vocals become more warped,
deep and weird.They begin to sound more like growling beasts than human
at times.Conversations and muffled speech can be heard in the far distance
and burried beneath the massive waves that form the drones.Reverb and
delay are applied in perfect amounts to give this more of an empty and
unwelcoming feeling.This is a very meditative track...As in the perfect thing
to listen to while planning out a pre-meditated murder.Inhuman howls fill
the air like pitch-shifted or downtuned cries of victims in a state of fear or
agony."Little Sister" is a work to endure and suffer.A slow daze through a
drug enduced state of fear and hallucination.Daemonic growls in a murky
swamp of low drones and deep rhythms.The vocals morph into high shrieks
of panic and semi-distorted and very raspy screams.Like the cries of sick people
during fevered phantasms.At times this brings to mind the mental patient vocals
from STALAGGH.Screams that sound like they were generated from the senseless
speech of drooling retards or devolved invalids.Whatever you want to call it...This
shit is disturbing.Dark moaning synths and lo-fi rustling noises.It's almost as if the
track itself is restless and impatient.Throughout its duration it feels like you are
just waiting for something bad to happen and there is nothing you can do to prevent
it.It is hard to tell that RAPE-X was even involved in this considering that much of
their work is harsh, relentless and in your face.The only element that seems to remain
from them is the perversity and forbidden desires depicted on the album art.Everything
begins to wind down and fade away until there are only glitched out vocals in a looped
rhythm.These remain for a time until all is silent.
SIDE B IS BLANK...BUT THAT'S WHY THEY
INVENTED THE REWIND BUTTON KIDS.

SHOWS ANOTHER SIDE OF RAPE-X...PROOVING THAT THEY ARE
CAPABLE OF UNLEASHING FEAR AS WELL AS BRUTALLITY.TOGETHER
WITH MATT ROSITANO THEY CRAFT A DARK REALM OF UNDERGROUND
PERVERSION THAT VERY FEW ARE DEMENTED ENOUGH TO EXPLORE.
