ADDITIONAL VOCALS ON TRACKS I AND IV BY:
GRETCHEN HEINEL

I.) THE WORLD IS THUS:
Sinister tones mingle and bring us into a dark underground
world of deep beauty. The speech of bats in flight fills the air
as plodding rythms carry us further into the blackness. The air
is thick and electric. This is a very cinematic piece and could
quite easily serve as the soundtrack to some slow and surreal
film not yet created. The vocals present here stretch out as
endless currents...Haunting and full of sadness. This track feels
like a long lost memory or a hazy dream...There but just out of
reach. The sound of the unattainable and the feelings of loss and
regret that comes with such a circumstance.A synthetic brass section
plays like the sounding of seven trumpets...Purifying the air and
signaling for the world to ready it'self for a grand cleansing.

II.) SALTED WOUNDS:
I have said this about various songs for various reasons but here it
is more appropriate than ever before...The first few measures of
"Salted Wounds" literally sounds like it was taken out of Silent
Hill...At least to my ears...However this does not last long as we
are cast into a pit of deep sorrow.Stirring strings and ground shaking
electronics.Thick and throbbing sub-bass movements rise along with
moaning vocals until the voice is almost lost in the growing rubble.
Pulsating drums pounded on debris reach for the throat as vocals that
sound utterly sick and diseased begin...The vocals are drenched in wet
sounding effects and strike the listening like psychic tendrils violating
the inner most chambers of the mind. This track reaches deep into the
listener and forcefully extracts emotions...Tossing them to the surface
with no regard or mercy. As if exposing the wounds wasn't enough...
THEOLOGIAN then chooses to salt them with thick layers of static
noise and heavy electronics to ensure that you suffer well.Multiple
textures are applied to every layer of sound to create a vast piece of
destructive deconstruction. The world around you crumbles...Paint
peels off cracking walls...The floor splits beneath your feet and the
sky moans in sympathy of your fear and agony. The melodic but
malinant chimes from the opening are present again...They bring
a feeling of uneasiness that hangs like a cloud of ash.The air has
become your enemy...The atmosphere your grave...Your body a
wound to be burried in the salted haze that was once your place
of existence. You should expect nothing less from THEOLOGIAN.

III.) RELIQUARIES FOR SALTED GENITALIA:
Deep pulses and mid-paced machine gun drumming. This pounds
into your brain and grabs your attention as effect laced vocals begin.
A ghostly choir forms a fog of ambience like faceless attendants at
a funeral...Your funeral. The vibe is one of mourning and desperation.
These vibes are poured into the air in large amounts that quickly consume
all in their path.Soft and heavy all at once.Slow and fast at the same time.
It is like THEOLOIAN has manipulated time it'self and used it as another
instrument in his composition. There is something almost sacred to this piece.
Like witnessing excorcism rites somewhere in the Holy Lands of the middle
east.Lashes from harsh electronic whips land on your flesh coming from every
direction at once. The choir has grown in volume and resonates in your ears
loudly now. With every passing moment the feeling of loss is stronger.THEOLOGIAN
has an ability to fill the listener with emotion that is almost unmatched in the world
of Power Electronics...This is just another example of this in effect.

IV.)...THUS HAVE WE MADE THE WORLD:
A myriad of electronic sounds gather and form rythms. This track it'self
succeeds in creating a synthetic world of great wonders and lurking danger.
Brass sections play in glory as a new realm is birthed. The voice of the creator
breaths life into the very atmosphere.Pulsing currents of static air move over
the face of the earth over and over again.Things begin to quiet down a little
as all becomes a sphere of dark ambience and chanting vocals. All creation
trembles as they are brought to life before their maker...THEOLOGIAN being
their God and architect. You have been brought forth to live, fuck, suffer and
die...Blessed be.

A FAIRLY SHORT BUT STUNNING ALBUM.THIS SHOWCASES A DARK
BUT BEAUTIFUL SIDE OF THEOLOGIAN THAT IS WORTH LOOKING
INTO.THESE ARE VERY LIMITED AND COME WITH LOTS OF EXTRAS.
