III.) HAIL THE TREMBLING LIGHT:
So I was warned that this album has some of the most vulgar
and offensive lyrics to be put to tape in quite some time.That
is saying a lot considering the subject matter and lyrical themes
that are so common in noise.Some of you won't be bothered by
any of this at all but the rest of you prepare you fingers...Your gonna
have a lot of hate mail to type up.Some of this like track one for example
might be considered racist by some of you as well with lines like "Black
women fucked by white men, Banknotes upon the darkened vagina" and
"Black mouth with thick lips, Surrounded by dry skin and white European
cocks"...To me art is art and hate is hate...The two becoming one is nothing
surprising.Track two is probably even more offensive with lyrics that read 
"The retard doesn't realise the pain, Irony or the situation, While sucking
a male nurses dick, Deaf again, Useless, Retarded faggot" But yet again it
is just a song and they are just words...They can only hurt or offend you as
much as you let them.Personally I would rather have someone writing about
this shit rather than actually going out and doing it...I will quote lyrics from
the closing track to argue why I think this is better sung or fantasized about
then it would be for someone to go into the world and make such things a 
reality. "I will fuck children in the elementary school so hard with a soldering
iron, That their rectum shall be ripped to million pieces."Yeah this is foreign
Power Electronics so some of the grammar is a little off but who really gives a
fuck.So anyways for those of you who have a fucked up sense of humor,Prefer
the extreme or simply just don't give a fuck...Lets move on to the music on this
cassette.First off this is fucking loud as fuck.It sounds like a thousand rusted gear
grinding and screeching in unison.Spoken vocals with a thick accent.Very similar
to the BRAINBOMBS are recited along a backdrop of moaning sub-bass and broken
machinery.Bass tones pulse and crawl giving the piece movement.The vocals shift
from shouts to distorted screams to emphasize whatever fucked up lines Inhos sees
fit.When screamed the vocals resemble raspy Black Metal vocals from the early 90's
at times and at others are done in high-pitched ear shattering screeches like something
you would expect to hear from SUTCLIFFE JUGEND...Actually much of this can be compared
to SUTCLIFFE JUGEND..Especially their album "The Victim as Beauty" Croaking vocals and
sickening deep-throated moans fill the air as the noise slowly dies down.The whole track 
is miserable and hopeless in the best possible way.We are just one track in and already I am
finding myself comparing this to artists like DEATHPILE,NICOLE 12,ATRAX MORGUE and
TAINT.Low drones carry us into hissing steam and warped noise like a pedophile circuit bending
childrens toys to make them more enticing to lure in his victims.The music pauses at timed intervals
to let through some really fucked up strangled screams and spoken vocals.It sounds like a bitch on her
rag dying in agony while skinning live cats.This shit is intense...The type of stuff you sick fucks spend
hours searching music catalogs for...You know those obscure bands with the strange names in the back
of your noise/grind catalogs you dream of discovering?..This is one of em...Track three consists of low
static and rumbling bass tones filled with some truly disturbing vocals.They sound wet and disgusting
and almost inhuman.Softly spoken yet raspy and angry all at once.This is the most minimal track so
far but that is in no way a bad thing.I have never heard someone attempt vocals with a throat full of
STD's but I'd imagine if they did it would sound something like this.The music sounds like HALALNIHIL
took all your hopes and dreams and threw them in a blender and then decided to masturbate while
watching it all grind together into a vile shit colored liquid...Final screams of orgasm and ecstasy and 
we are on to side B.

IV.) ACID RAIN FOR THE CELEBRATION
V.) VAPORIZATOR VI.) WARD:
Your still reading this shit? What the fuck is wrong with you people? Probably the same shit that is
wrong with us here at Traumatic Static...Which is a long list according to our therapists...But Fuck 
those assholes.Anyways now that your all here, Let me tell you about the rest of this album.Two more
ultra fucked tracks and an instrumental.What more could you ask for? Bass heavy noise rolls out like
black clouds of thunder filled with static electricity.High end feedback wails deep in the background.
The vocals are once again spoken in BRAINBOMBS fashion with brief moments of NDE style distorted
screaming.High-pitched shrieks pop in from time to time like a rape in progress.Everything fades into
a dull drone of repeating rythm.It almost sounds like the tape is broken for a while.Harsh feedback 
brings everything back into disturbing clarity.Like the reality of a terrible situation starting to sink
in.The next track begins with white hot noise melting your face like red hot steam.Crunching bass
forms a backing layer sounding like field recorded fire ran through massive distortion.For a while
it sounds like an eternal scream of agony that has no plans on ever ending and then...It ends...
Blurred low end noise turns into blurred violence as a second wave rushes out through your speakers
and tears you a new one.Spoken vocals are transmitted over the airwaves like fragments of bad news
coming through a broken radio.You try to search for a more uplifting station only to find screams of
pain and suffering...Maybe it is best to stay in doors and sit this one out.Warped static and distortion
plays in the air like whipping winds as the narrator returns with more tales of the perverse and utterly
fucked up.Horrid screams return...Everything feels like a cycle of torment with no end in sight.Eventually
it does cease bringing us to the final track "Ward" An eerie instrumental that sounds like it should accompany
the scenes of a horror film spent in an abandoned psyche hospital where something sinister still lurks and
watches your every move.Low static and humming ambience blends together as chills run across your skin.
Distorted rythms like some whirring medical machine bleeding it's last few moments before it dies in silence.

I.) BLURRED BY THE VIOLENCE I:
This starts off with ultra loud distorted air raid signal noize.
Warped tones whirl through the air and all becomes a blur of
violence as the title suggests.Everything takes a dramatic turn
and fades into a deep rythm of plodding,distorted sub-bass.The
vocals are low and ominous..Spoken a little above a whisper in
a perverse tone to perfectly match the sexual subject matter of
the album.This is like 50 shades of grey for noize freaks.Electric
drones and crunching stomps of distortion pick up the pace as
sampled vocals of lust and perversion feel the air like the stench
of sweat and sex.An all-out orgy of pure pleasure and indulgence.
Loud hissing screams spill fourth like waves of orgasm one after
another.

II.) LILITH WAS COLD:
High end noize in a rapid pace.Similar to TAINT or NICOLE 12 in
many ways.This is a really short track and honestly I don't think the
album would suffer at all if it wasn't present.The lyrics are a bit odd.
Two lines ring out during the song and almost feel pointless or out
of place...The placement of the track just feels odd or off to me for
some reason.The deep Power Violence style vocals bring to mind 
the more noize oriented work of MAN IS THE BASTARD but here
it just seems like unlike M.I.T.B. MINOTAUR doesn't have much
of a message to convey.

III.) SOLDIER:
Ok well now it seems we are back on track.A slow funeral paced
death march rythm like the stomping black boots of soildiers as
they march through city streets.Synths hum with a bright radience
as the vocalist plays the part of a narrator describing violence and
force inflicted on the general public.Raped by your protectors.This
is the world we live in.A massive roar of noize like mortar fire as
tanks roll in hungry for destruction begins and slowly fades into
a P.T.S.D. memory of wars past.All ends as trembling noize fades
into silence.

IV.) POSSESSION I:
Distorted drones laced with bass and static.Spoken down-tuned vocals
tell of sexual delight and utter torment as if they are one and the same.
This is a lot like NICOLE 12.Dark and dreary.The type of stuff that utilizes
the potency of the minimal approach to great effect.This could also be 
compared to early demos from STEEL HOOK PROSTHESES but with a
more ATRAX MORGUE approach.The subject matter throughout this 
release as well as the overall style just sounds like it should have been
released in the 1990's.In other words...MINOTAUR is keeping the perverse
side of Power Electronics alive and well.

V.) HONEY:
Steel pipes scrape cold concrete and bang on metal walls.Low rumbling 
bass molested by distortion forms a canvas on which abominations are
painted.Near whispered spoken vocals almost sung at times speak in vivid
detail...I will let you listen for yourself to see what they have to say..They
keep things short and sweet with this one.Sweet as honey.

VI.) THE HUNGER IN HER WOMB I:
Synths flood the ears.Samples of what may be a rape in progress that sound
like they are pouring out of the speakers of a broken radio make a brief 
apperance.The distortion used on the vocals is pretty interesting and gives
the whole track a very creepy and menacing feeling.Again the vocals are hardly
above a whisper...Echos narrating lustful fantasies spoken over rising and falling
electric drones.MINOTAUR excell in this style better than most others who attempt
the "serial rapist on the loose" approach...But also MINOTAUR is very succsessful in
convincing you that the women want it and may be play mates more than victims.
Feeding the hunger in their wombs while feeding the listener with a healthy dose 
of pure indulgence.

VII.) BLURRED BY THE VIOLENCE II:
This one is about 7 and a half minutes of dark erotica.The main rythm is the
same as part one but this time the vocals are deeper to the point that they
almost sound daemonic.Like an incubus sharing stories of his nightly pleasures.
Death Industrial drums pound like angry fists upon iron gates.Harsh noize takes
over as samples scream out like a living collage of flesh and debauchery.A literal
blur of violence.This is by far the most relentless and punishing track on the album
so far and we are only about 3 and a half minutes deep at this point.These guys go
from steadily pounding you into submission to violently forcing themselves on you.
Pain and pleasure.This is the audio equivalent to the scenes that go on behind closed
doors in the realms of the Hellraiser films.This is also a very "visual" album as the events
that take place in these ten tracks are described in great detail.So much like Pinhead and
his pals...MINOTAUR have "Such sights to show you..."

VIII.) HER BLOOD WAS FIRE:
The music in this track is pretty much exactly the same as track two...
But here the track is about twice as long and has much more going on 
vocally.Screams of cruel sex and forced obedience come in deep rasps
with Power Violence aggression.Being that this one is a little longer than
track two there is more happening musically as well about mid-way in.
Harsh static and additional textures make this much more interesting
than it was in it's first incarnation.I guess choosing to continue this little
theme makes track two feel a little less pointless but at the same time
many of you may consider this to be "recycled" or "lazy" You can come
to your own conclusions...If I was to hear this track alone and had to 
decide if I liked these guys based on that alone I would give em a
thumbs up for sure.

IX.) POSSESSION II:
Spoken vocals pitch-shifted far beyond human echo like surreal 
memories from the night before.A night of sexual rituals in excess.
The volume increases as distortion pedals are kicked into overdrive
and applied to the vocals.Screaming strands of distortion fill the room.
This just makes me envision a room filled with naked bodies all writhing
and moaning in grotesque pleasure without a care in the world.Deep sub-
bass pulses and howling atmospheres of feedback laced in delay and reverb
bring us to the end of the album.The hunger continues...

X.) THE HUNGER IN HER WOMB II:
Distorted drones in churning rythms like a slow tide expanding onward
endlessly.Crunching distortion repeats in echo adding to the pace and 
pulling us far past the shore line.We are now wading in a sea of honey
and human fluid.Harsh vocals screamed through distortion rage on as
additional layers and textures begin to close in to strangle us until we
are submissive enough to allow MINOTAUR to have their way with us.
And right before they get their sweaty hands on us...Everything is over
leaving the events to come next up to our imaginations.

In the last few years we have seen the beginning of what could be
called an "Industrial revival"...Yeah Industrial has been around in
some form or another but nothing has been that impressive since
the glory days.Bands like COMBICHRIST, GRENDEL and VNV 
NATION have attempted to keep the genre alive and evolving 
but all they have really done is use the title as a way to label
their overproduced whatered down dancey EBM bullshit.In no
way has any of this been a fitting tribute to the Innovators of old
or even held the same hard work ethic or creativity of the forefathers.
At least not in our oppinion...Fast forward to the last few years and it
seems like the dim light at the end of the tunnel has been harnessed as
a torch to illuminate the way for the new regime.Bands like YOUTH CODE,
PLACK BLAGUE,OPPONENTS and PROSTATE have showed up with all the 
passion and attitude of the early scene and sound just as relevant and stunning 
as those who did it decades before.Here we have an amazingly talented band 
playing oldschool style Industrial in the vein of early TEST DEPT and FRONT 
242 with a vocalist that seems to have channeled the ghosts of early SKINNY PUPPY 
and FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY..This is Industrial done right and here at Traumatic Static
we couldn't be happier.This album took three years to accomplish and it is that level
of attention to detail that sets this apart from the others.(A healthy amount of good
influences didn't hurt either) It takes two live drummers to accomlish what these guys
have done in the studio in a concert setting...First you have your more "traditional" 
Industrial drumming similar to SKINNY PUPPY and the early pioneers..But along with
this we have something that I personally have missed quite a bit..and that is the backing
metallic percussions that used to be a constant with bands like SPK or EINSUERZENDE
NEBUATEN...Also the skill level it took to pull this off in the way that PROSTATE has is
astonishing.This is the real deal..Clanking,grinding,junkyard rythms and metallic chaos
perfectly structured into a working rythm.The synths are very well executed as well and 
every tone and layer works perfectly to create a sound that we had feared was a thing of
the past until recently.There are no guitars here..just pure electic energy harnessed and
let loose like live-wires on an unsuspecting audience.Yet another thing that makes this
so special is the use of low, almost Death Industrial/Power Electronics interludes and 
instrumental peices.This keeps the anticipation on high and leaves you on the edge of
your seat not knowing when to expect the next blast of electric brutality.The album 
starts like this with the track "Chanson de Gest" and then kicks off into "The Church
of the World" which is by far one of the most legit demonstrations of true Industrial
I have heard since the last YOUTH CODE album.PROSTATE may even sound less 
modern than any of their peers and truly embrace their roots more so than anyone
else we know of...That being said their are a few moments that this sounds a little
closer to some of the solo OHGR albums but that is in no way a complaint...The
clanging percussions and deep synths at the opening of "Merdre" bring it all back
to the past with murky atmospheres and a totally hostile vibe throughout the track.
The highlight of the album to me is the title track "R.I.P. V.I.P." A seven minute trip
through the late 80's/early 90's full of emotional and melancholic synths,Haunting
choirs,Grinding noise and raw talent.I haven't heard anything even close to this since
SKINNY PUPPY released Too Dark Park.A blend of the old and the 90's new.The drums
in the following track "Ladder" actually brought to mind early FOETUS when I first heard
them.Mid-tempo tribal grooves that could work equally well in a COIL song as they do here.
"Interm" starts out in a similar manner and quickly becomes one of the most powerful tracks
on the album.This shit totally stomps and the synths are a beautiful backing the the jungle
rythms that take center stage here."Cadavre" lives up to it's name as it is really close to being
pure Death Industrial.We end with the tracks "Swollen" and "Vertere"...The first being similar
to early FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY and maybe KMFDM...Slow and stalking synths...Near whispered
vocals like those of a serial killer on the prowl and sewer pipe percussions along with static textures
and heavy beats.The closing track is a Dark Ambient/Death Industrial peice that ends the album in
the same way it began.Dark and hopless...

THIS IS EXACTLY HOW INDUSTRIAL IS DONE.
PROSTATE HAS RESSURECTED A BEAST FROM

Here EN NIHIL drags us kicking and screaming into the living Hell
that is his art.Down the narrow blackened corridors of a mind plagued
with disgust for the living and visits from the dead.Here we have what
can be considered four seperate points of view on the same dreadful
nightmare.An aural apocalypse of Harsh Noize constructed and structured
into a soundtrack to dwelling in the farthest reaches of the dark.Shifting
sands blow across desolate scenes of ruin and wreckage.Rusted metals scrape
and scratch drilling deep into the center of your eardrums.This is the sound
of endlessly wandering in a post-apocalyptic void where all dreams are long
dead and burried in layer upon layer of wind-worn filth.Crashing assualts of
noize violently lash out upon you as slow creaking rythms carry you further
away from any traces of hope you thought you saw.Death-rattles sound around
every corner.The entire world has become no more than a junkyard of scrap metal
and useless debris...This is the legacy man has left behind...The few remaining who
were unfortunate enough to survive perform rituals to a chorus of scraping metal as
they dance around crude golems constructed of the remains of the world's destruction.
The entire EN NIHIL side of this release is very primitive and barbaric...Meaning that
what we have here is raw energy harnessed and unleashed to perform whatever it may
desire.Storms of static wind stalk an ashen skyline like rabid wolves.The night falls thick
and heavy adding blindness to the lurking dangers.The air is toxic and nothing is safe or
wholesome any longer.Every EN NIHIL release is different and especially on splits it seems
that Adam Fritz goes out of his way to compliment and support the other artist he is teaming
up with...This is very much the case here as well.Here he manifests EN NIHIL as a beast with a
soul of utter blackness.It is like Adam Fritz dug deep into his inner most thoughts and let them
spill out across the floor in all their hideous glory.If you blasted this shit on a nice summer after-
noon...Every bird in the sky would drop dead,The clouds would turn into grey masses of hate, and
everyone in range would pray to their God's to end the torment that it would bring.Like an orcestrah
where violins are played with rusty nails and knives and the conductor has the themes of genocide and
eradication in mind.By now all is overrun by nature as she sets loose her wolves to gloriously reclaim
her throne.Near silent movements give way to cracks of thunder and bolts of lightning that shatter the
upper heavens as they force their way down to earth in a rain of static.A vortex opens in the center of
Heaven that begins to swallow and devour everything til all is left in Nihil.

SIDE B.) DEMONOLOGISTS:

V.) MANIPULATION CUTS:

Chains rattle in desolation as low winds blow.Raging bursts of noize appear and suffocate
the listener then vanish as quick as they came.This ordeal continues but worse each time.
Blackened vocals of the most vile nature join in the chorus of pain adding more of a sting
to every blow.The screeching of razors and barbed wire joining in intercourse has begun as
everything turns into an orgy of suffering.DEMONOLOGISTS matches the atmosphere of
EN NIHIL perfectly but in his own fucked up way.Harsh noize strikes out in steaming blurs
of violence.Cory Rowell is literally attempting to cut the listener into bleeding bits with his
jagged stabs to the senses.His instruments are blades,chains and needles and with these he
has created a symphony.Many artists have tried to various degrees of sucsess to create tracks
along these lines but here it works in a way that many others have missed.Everything blends 
and flows to perfection so it never sounds like random noize put together just for the sake of
making Harsh Noize.Each layer has it's place and knows it's time to shine..Shine in a way that
a fresh razor glistens in the dim light.This track sounds absolutely ravenous and willing to do
anything it must to feed that hunger.At moments it sounds like every object in an abandoned
mental hospital has come to life and decided to start a fucking mosh pit while a winter storm
rages through shattered windows and adds to the frenzy.During all this a lone deranged psycho-
path screams his fucking lungs out just to add to the madness.I don't know how Cory Rowell
sleeps at night if this is the type of shit that goes on in his head but I am glad he has managed
to put it to tape.Harsher than SUTEKH HEXEN or CROWN OF BONE by a long shot and way
more thought out and interesting in my oppinion.Call me biased...See if I give a fuck.Here at
Traumatic Static we call it as we see it...And here we see (or hear rather) manifested annihilation 
on a warpath.Endless hordes of daemons join in chorus near the end and rip everything to peices.
All that is left is the empty resonance of extinction and then silence.

I.) BANISHMENT INVOKATION:

This transports you to a hidden place off in the distance..A place where 
one is not to know of secret and occult things...Like being a secret observer
to a personal ritual only meant for a select few...It feels like you are violating
something sacred just by listening..Like reading a personal letter or a diary of 
ones deep thoughts...Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say a tome of 
arcane knowledge...Regarldess, here we stand as the words of a priestess travel 
across the winds in an unknown language.Spoken with power and piercing our 
minds as each strange syllable rolls off her tongue in chants and commands that
arrive as light whispers in the purified air of ritual.You can feel the energy rise 
as she speaks with a focused voice and her mind set as she envisions the entity
she invokes.The dark eerie ambience that accompanies her acting as a conduit
and a manifestation of what will surely arise.

Hissing winds travel heavy across a barren land.The air is filled with echoes 
that still hold fast to memoirs of long days past.But the days of old always 
have their stories to tell..Their narrative comes as wind chimes made of wood 
and bone..It seems like all has stopped and you find yourself in the center of the 
universe..Many things unseen now become seen.Thick synths fill the air like the 
echoes of hawks and falcons..Coming as long screeches in upper atmosphere..Their
calls like keys that open the gates allowing a deep flood of hollowed agony.Everything
feels dangerous causing you to feel like a scared child, afraid to move forward or back 
from whence you came..This is the sound of being scared and alone in torment..Nowhere 
to go and nowhere to run.The soundtrack to hanging in the balance in the center of your
own mind as your darkest fears are confirmed.

III.) FINDING DEATH AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE:
We all seem to think of death at one point in life...But are you one to turn away from the 
very thought of dying? Or do you entertain it in wonder? Stephen Petrus AKA MURDEROUS
VISION seems to me to be of the ladder..Not that this is anything new to Death Industrial, But
the man has his own way of expressing it which is what makes this as well as his previous albums
so special.I get lost in the thought at times..I often wonder if I will someday be lost in the balance 
of life and death..Luckily we have tracks like this and artists like MURDEROUS VISION who can
express such things in music...And to great effect...This allows us all to dwell in the realms of 
meditation on death and dying while still having one foot in the world of the living.I imagine 
when death does come and our fate is decided that in those moments it will sound and feel alot 
like this.It is rare that an artsist can turn a dream or an experiance into sound that captures it so
vividly and for a time makes it absolutely real.It is very easy to feel an emotion or even wonder
how something you have yet to experience will feel.But to flawlessly turn it into raw energy that
brings even death to life is a task that very few could ever master.Stephen Petrus is a master.

IV.) A WHISPER BECOMES A SHIVER:
Stactic blooms in the air and amplifies the atmosphere with intense energy.
The tempo rises and chills run through your bones to your fingertips.These are
the sounds of surreal moments of severe anxiety and shitzophrenia.Again it is
not often that a mere ambient track can strike to your very core like this.Here
MURDEROUS VISION channels utter pain..The sharp sneaking kind that appears
al at once as a rush of pure suffering.Pain that makes you swiftly reach to your skull,
digging fingernails into the scalp as your body rocks back and forth in paranoia and 
agony.This is slow and calculated audio madness.A peice of audio exploration into
the frantic fear of knowing that something is very wrong but with no explanation.
The only answer is...This is Death Industrial...Enjoy...

V.) THE SOUL CONFINED:

If the soul is confined then it is filled with rage because of this and fighting
to get out with all of it's might.Whirlwinds of a lifeforce held captive slam
the walls forming a rythm.With the previous attempts at escape not being
very succesful the entity decides to become vocal about it.Distorted screams
contend with the haunting hum of dark ambience that has arrived to further
blacken the horrizon.Making everything hopeless and destroying any silver
linings that may have been.Similar to NAVICON TORTURE TECHNOLOGIES
and STEEL HOOK PROSTHESES.Pure electronic rage in a slow attack on the
senses.Various rythms form in the stark blackness pushing things along until
we turn our focus to you.

VI.) YOU:

A man's voice opens this number like a preacher forcefully throwing 
accusations at his numb and narrow minded conregation.Welcome to
the first church of Petrus mother fuckers..The cold and piercing guilt
and blame thrown in your face almost makes me uncomfortable at
times...But why should it not?...True art is often disturbing and the
fact that the song can awaken such emotions is proof that it was done
right.This reminds you that it is YOU that is your own worst enemy.
And facing ourselves and seeing what we don't want to accept or admit
in the mirror is always something that hurts the most.This one (as well
as the previous track) are a little heavier than the others so far.This particular 
one dwelling more in the realm of "Misanthropic Power Electronics."
Self hatred has never sounded so good...

VII.) THE HORNED BEAST OF GOLGOTHA:
(ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON A SPLIT CASSETTE
WITH NYODENE D - TITLED - KIRKEBRENNAN)
A trial begins as the accused stands before their accusers..Guilty of
blasphemy even in the moments of death..He gathers his strength 
and with spite and loathing curses them all and their descendants
for generations to come.With chilling but certain words he boldly 
quotes "I will be back" The tempo picks up and the overall rythm
for some reason sounds a lot like the song "Radar Love" to my ears.
We are now joined by one more who is being accused and judged. 
This time a women speaks with firey words and as the lightning cracks
so does her tongue straight into the hearts of her jury.Thunder rolls in as 
she screams her last breath..Other worldly vocals flood this unholy day.
Their vengance takes it's form and swallows the air leaving it heavy and 
suffocating.Sounds of nameless monstrocities entice and invoke fear of 
their swiftly approaching wrath.The damned and cursed are left to suffer 
with nowhere to hide or escape.A voice of promise speaks and tells that
they will surely die in agony.The closing track is a vengeful one indeed.
The distorted gurgling vocals towards the end are most excellent and 
leave me in awe.I wish it never to stop as the evil voices speak their 
blasphemy...The minions of the horned beast drag the poor souls that 
have been sentenced to Hell.Their day of reckoning has commenced.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN LET DOWN BY A MURDEROUS VISION RELEASE...
AND THIS ONE CONTINUES THAT TRADITION:

SIDE A.) REGOSPHERE:

I.) DEATH, LIKE A THIEF:
Mid-tempo industrial drum beats similar to the "newer" works 
of OPPONENTS.Rabid static vocals rage in utter disgust.It sounds
like a shambling march of the living dead while they compose some
grade A Power Electronics.They may be dead and decomposing but 
they somehow still have an ear for structure and composition..So yeah
this is some pretty heavy stuff.Just the overall sound of this stops you in 
your tracks and leaves you just standing there in awe and probably shitting
yourself.Shivers of fear and excitement rush down your spine and through
your body with each stomping drum beat.Various layers and textures of 
electronic synths and noise help to keep things moving along and interesting.
Semi-harsh but never overwhelming.REGOSPHERE has really found a great 
balance and presents this like a master.Noises whirl in the background like
buzzing insects infecting a world that has become a living bio-hazard it'self.
A thousand vile creatures feasting on diseased carrion and then injecting the
poison they just devoured into anything left alive with their dripping pincers.
In other words...This is Power Electronics done right and of the highest quality.

SIDE B.) THE VOMIT ARSONIST:

II.) MIND TURNS VIOLENT:
The mind really does turn violent on this one.Again we have stomping industrial
drums but this time in a much more Death Industrial manner..So of course relentless
and crushing.This really does bring the violence and you can just feel it in the vocals
as well as the overall atmosphere of the track.A perfect companion to the REGOSPHERE
side done in a similar, yet different style that only compliments the previous track and
never interrupting the flow/vibe of the release.This really entices the mind and forces it 
to conjure up thoughts and images of many harsh memories and dark fantasys.For example
while listening to this my mind in response played back graphic and vivid pictures of a 
brutally beaten victim still hanging on for dear life...crying tears of blood from broken 
cornias.In some ways this is harsher or at least more raw where REGOSPHERE is a bit
"cleaner" in production, but it works here...It is almost like both artists are telling the
same story from different perspectives.Maybe this is the rusted world ten years after 
the coming of the REGOSPHERE virus.However you want to look at it..This is a great
split..I advise you grab a copy before they are gone and let the music speak for it'self.

I.) SKRONEG:
Here SKORNEG takes us on a journey.An exploration through
places that man has forgotten or never known of to begin with.
The darkest, coldest realms are where they chose to dwell and
uncover.So of course this is right at home on Malignant Records
who have been delivering high quality Death Industrial and Dark
Ambient for years now.The album centers around frozen landscapes,
Barren frost covered wastelands and wind swept caverns lost within
the bowels of the earth.Synth strings stir and gain momentum as all
is flooded in icy ambience.Layers and textures build and dance as
something shuffles in the dim moonlight that bathes the icy walls
of a blue world unseen by most mortal men.Light percussion like
trudging through waist high snow.Winds howl creating a gentle but
fierce hum in the air.Deep sub-bass undercurrents push us further in
and further down as we descend deeper into the unknown.Metallic
tools scrape and carve a path to explore as the intensity grows as it
attempts to overwhelm any wearing travellers.Eroding and wearing
down everything in sight in slow motion.Low breezes of static fill the
empty spaces and nothing is left untouched.What sounds like voices
can be heard moaning in the wind but this is surely a trick of the mind
when in such a treacherous and frightful place.Every layered texture begins
to swirl in a vortex of cold wind and colder ambience until all lines begin
to blur and we are lost terrified and alone in the deepest depths of places
unnamed.Almost tribal percussions are heard stomping like a ritual come 
to chose a sacrifice for a fast approaching festival of occult worship.Everything
winds down and begins to fade as we are carried away to our fate...Whatever
that may be...

II.) SERAC:
The atmosphere is electric.And almost feels hostile.It seems as if the very pulse
of this pitch black night is a warning.Ambience hovers and howls as deep synth
waves.Hidden static can be heard like the speech of insects that make their 
presence known but never reveal their forms.Thick synths like sounding trumpets
prepare us for whats to come.Industrial percussions begin like the hands of a clock
counting down the remaining time before death.Reversed rythms play backwards
as sands quickly run through the hourglass.It feels like you are in a place of great
awaiting danger and peril.Where wolves circle in wait of your collapse so that they
can feel their stomachs while your flesh is still warm.Time shifts and stops.These are
those last few surreal moments of high anxiety where the reality of your situation 
starts to sink in.Time begins again...Racing backwards as your meaningless life flashes
before your eyes.Volume and tempo increase as the time of your departure is only a
few moments away.Fear and denial sink their claws and teeth into your tender guts.
Less than five minutes remain.The angels of death sound their horns as black clouds
crack open exposing the great vast darkness of the sky.The angel of death descends
and slowly extracts your soul and takes it for his own.The trumpets fade as do you.

III.) FOEHN:
Thick darkness spreads and expands.Sub-bass pulses attempt to hide in vain as their
presence is too great.Cold winds cloak the atmosphere...And SKORNEG is all about
atmosphere.Similar to ABANDONED ASYLUM or even some of the work of T.O.M.B.
at times.Buzzing electricity charges the air like a coven of fireflies.The wings of other
insects beat in the darker areas that the shadows have made their home.Drones build
and pulse ever onwards in a manner similar to what you would hear as a backing layer
in many Power Electronics tracks.Glitching signals hum from broken radios.Crystal
winds bite the flesh in bitter disgust as they violently reach for anyone and anything.
Everything form into one rythm but never loses the identity of each individual layer.
Like a composite golem of sound.Nameless beasts breath deep and growl sounding
like they are too close for comfort.Skorneg very effectively transports you to places
you would not normally go under any circumstances.What happens there.None can
say for sure.Guess you will just have to find out for yourself.

IV.) SHERPAS:
If any of you have read Dante's Inferno then you know that the lowest level of Hell
is composed of ice and reserved for only the cruelest offenders.Looks like you were 
one of them.Welcome to Hell...Glass and ice scrape together over murky ambience
that just doesn't feel too friendly at all.Geysers bubble and froth as the static wings
of locusts fill the dead air.Voices whisper curses and prayers...Neither being of any
use here.Percussions are heard like the performance of unknown tortures beyond
sight and probably better that they are.This is the "slowest" track on the album as
well as the most "quiet"...Mournful winds shamble in depression as multiple layers
of tones that serve as pure atmosphere struggle for dominance.All is cold to the point
that you are numb which is your only solace here...Though it is a comfort that never
lasts long.Rythms are played by unknown entities on glass pipes and cylinders for no
reason other than to make you even more uncomfortable as you wonder what the
source of it is.Electronics are used to great effect to keep things interesting as you
await your next session of torture in damnation.Machines push and pull air in mockery
of the long hours of meaningless work your life was wasted on.Yet another pulsing rythm
begins signaling the approach of your ungodly host.Your turn for torment is near.You 
would be biting your nails right now if they were'nt locked in frozen shackles.What 
happens next is to be left to the imagination.We end with a consuming feeling of dread.
It has been said that hopelessness is all we have.Take it as gospel.

IMAGINE YOU ARE A LOST SPIRIT.UNAWARE THAT YOU ARE DEAD.
IF THERE WAS A SOUNDTRACK TO WANDERING IN HOPELESSNESS
FOREVER.THIS WOULD BE IT:

I.) DYODYO ASEMA:
The hiss of rain falls upon a smeared canvas of dark ambience 
and crashing deep piano keys.Noize and feedback usher in the
coming of churning,lurching bass guitar.Daemonic growls from
the bowels of Hell play in the rising darkness.Crashing drums
and haunting mournful vocals dance with feedback and blackened
screams in a display of pitch-black drone doom and stirring orchestral
strings.The vocals that join sound like XASTHUR if he was dying from
the black plague.Jowels dripping with blood,saliva and thick tar.Bile
splattering on the floor in thick drops as he slowly dies in wretched 
agony.Countless layers and textures are applied to every tormented
moment.Lead guitars and pulsing electronics linger on the horizon.
Backing vocals pitch-shifted way down bring us closer to Hell on earth
with each passing second.Doom-synths fill the air with dread and despair
as all moves closer to the triumph of death.The Reaper has claimed this
domain as his own and has began his rule neath the sign of the scyth.All
builds up into on all out frenzy of blistering Black Metal with no remorse.
Blast beats blaze a trail through a mass grave of ashen churches.Heavy bass
brings the doom and oldschool 90's style Black Metal riffs are played by the
talons of numberless legions.The vocals take on a more DEATHSPELL OMEGA
type style at times and come in loud shouts of wrath.The prominence of heavy
bass guitar brings to mind LEVIATHAN and LURKER OF CHALICE...Not the most
common thing in Black Metal unfortunatly and it is great to see more of this...
Every now and then huge blasts of distorted noize will stab out in quick swipes.
We shift into a death stomp for a brief time filled with tormented vocals and dark
atmospherics.Then it's back to the 90's when Black Metal sounded original as well
as threatening.Melancholic riffs pull us into utter despondency without feeling like
some teenage angst filled failed attempt at misery...No this is in no way your boring
bedroom D.S.B.M. crap this is soaked in despair and painful emotion in the best way
possible.Everything slows into stomping drums and noize before fading into total Death
Industrial/Ritual Ambient.Church bells ring in vain as dense noize and vocals bleeding
black filth and dripping with chunks of vomit narrate the end.Somehow GNAW THEIR
TONGUES and ALKERDEEL have created an utter masterpiece of perfectly blended cross
genre experimentation.This is going to be a hard one for either band to top in the future.

A TRUE ACCOMPLISHMENT IN MODERN METAL AND NOIZE.VERY FEW RELEASES
HAVE PULLED OFF SUCH A MASSIVE UNDERTAKING.A DOZEN GENRES ALL PACKED
INTO ONE TRACK THAT WILL LEAVE YOU ABSOLUTELY SPELLBOUND:

BLACK NOIZE/RAW BLACK METAL/RITUAL AMBIENT/DRONE DOOM
COMES IN AN EXTRA-LARGE PLASTIC CASE WITH GIANT J-CARD INSERT.



So what we have here is roughly 20 minutes of face melting Black Noize
and dark ambient dronescapes on two roughly ten minute cassettes.
Why they felt the need to span such a short amount of material on
two cassettes is beyond me and is sort of a pain in the ass having to
keep flipping and changing tapes.There are a few reasons I can think 
of for releasing this in such a manner.Maybe this is a collection of two
7-inches and they wanted to present them seperately as released? Which
even then it would still make more sense to put them on one tape.Maybe
they want to seperate this as two different E.P.s? If so the themes and music
are not too different from tape one to tape two and it would still seem easier
and cheaper to do one cassette.Or maybe they just wanted to be "artsy" or just
plain annoying...Idk...Moving on to the actual music presented here which is
actually pretty good despite the odd choice of presentation.The packaging is
pretty cool though and spices up your collection a bit I guess.

SIDE A.)

I.) LASTNESS:
Harsh percussions in a slow vortex devoid of light.Painful moaning rides low
winds in the distance.Bass lines crawl through an abyss of Black Ambient meets
Death Industrial.Daemonic serpents slither and hiss through murky filth.Far in the
distance a rythm plays out on a silent guitar.Entities gather like rustling wind filling
the air with the promise of death and danger for any who approach this God forsaken
land.This is the last stop.The place where dreams go to die.Nothing wholesome grows
here and the waters are a thick black poison.All fades into shifting Ritual Ambience
similar to ABANDONED ASYLUM or a more stripped down BRIGHTER DEATH NOW.
Possessed monks chant blasphemous hymns on forked tongues.And the ritual closes.

SIDE B.)

II.) OF EMANATION:
Rumbling sub-bass movements reach their black clawed hands over the sun and crush it
into dust.Blistering Black Noize takes it's place as the sky turns pitch black.Metallic clanging
blast beats like a steel train flying off the rails.Hazy and dizzying Black Metal riffs decay and
die along with raspy screams of disease and plague.The carrion of the earth have gathered into
makeshift golems and formed a band to further the cause of death on earth.Death-stomp bass
drums pummel you into submission as all fades into quiet torture.Again serpents coil and hiss
in perverse pleasure.A second wave of blasting black filth rears it's disfigured head and carries
you off in a swirling sea of painful disease.Glacial bass vibrations begin where shrieking vocals
die and fade and lead into an onslaught of distortion almost to the point of overkill.Final shrieks
of torment and all abruptly ends.

This sounds like it was conjured from an ancient grimoire forbidden black magick rather
than played or written.Huge assualts of static and crunching distortion like a thousand
abomominations wrecking the gates of Hell to be set free.They are then birthed into a
cataklysmic blizzard of pure hatred.Short bursts of relentless Black Noize rise and fall
like red winds of holocaust.Dark Death Ambience formed out of delay soaked lead guitar
that reeks of reverb.Horrid creatures scratch their way into your ears and claw out your soul
as a trophy as you listen to this.SUTEKH HEXEN dwells in a place where no hope exists.Pure
audio agony.Vocals come through multiple throats each possessed by their own horde of daemons.
It is like that scene in Poltergeists where everything in the house is being thrown around until the 
whole place implodes on it'self and vanishes in a sudden end.

Low cavernous winds are heard near tides as dark as night.A howling resonance hovers over pale
mists.Booming Death Industrial percussions shake and quake creating fissures that split the earth
and sky further apart.The vocals are like swarming black locusts of the apocalypse with the faces
of men and the tails of scorpions.Injecting more venom with each word.There is a beautiful mournful
ambience that cloaks all like snowfall and sends chills down the spine just the same.This may very well
be my favorite SUTEKH HEXEN song I have heard thus far.Everything meets together like a colony of
busy insects swarming around through depressive skies.The vocals seem louder and easier to make out 
here but are barley above a whisper at the same time.This is the best track they have done since Larvae
so it is quite an accomplishement as that is my favorite album from these guys.

PLAGUES OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS FOR YOUR LISTENING ENJOYMENT:
