I: PERDITION FROM THE VIRGINS MOUTH:
Womb Worship takes a slightly different direction than previous
HUMAN LARVAE releases but is still as potent as ever delivering
eight tracks that dwell within the realms of Dark Ambience, Fierce
Power Electronics and crawling Death Industial.Track one begins with
deep repeating low piano keys followed by walls of harsh static and
feedback. It feels like a gnawing black hole slowly engulfing all in
it's wake.There is a building malevolence with each moment.Harsh
distorted vocals in a stlye similar to oldschool Power Violence
amidst a field of wind and humming electronic radiance.Chains rattle
and scrape in the background with the growing sense of impending doom.
Disfigured spectres and limbless ghosts whirl in frenzied suffering.
Nothing is wholesome here.Just waste and annihiation. It ends in near
silence save for dark ambience and pummeling piano chords.
II: THE TRUTH I FAILED TO SEE:
The sound of rythmitic breathing loops on as a sampled voice
declares he is here to hurt us as much as he can.A vortex of
rushing wind can be heared alongside the threatening speech.
All is slow and somber.Minimal ambience and even less regard
for the well being of fellow humans.Gut wrenching vomit and
gagging then it's on to further acts of violence.
III: SLAVE TO VIOLENCE:
Harsh noize swirls through empty space a little more along
the lines of previous HUMAN LARVAE work but still softer
and darker.Less anger more dread.A malestrom of metallic
noize rushes through in an orgy of rust.Vocals assault the
listener in a way similar to GNAWED or RU486.The backing
music is like a HNW track but with much more going on.
The collapse of music theory and a lesson in harsh electronics.
"If you only knew how much she needs you when she's bleeding in
the bedroom." The lyrics are hopeless and vengeful. The aesthetic
of NTT through a harsher delivery.
IV: ENTWINED IN THE UMBILICAL NOOSE:
Death Industrial synths throbbing in an empty void.Horror film
grade percussion in the form of scraping metal on cold concrete
in an empty basement.Screams of torment and agony can be hard
far in the distance. This is the sound of birth.Welcome to the
world of the living mother fucker.Clawing rats run across the
floors in a merciful attempt to spare one more poor bastard a
place in this cesspool existence of shit and piss.Grinding power
electronics carve through the womb as sinister church organs begin
to play out a ballad for the damned. It is refreshing to hear this
used to real effect without it sounding cheesey or overdone as it
usually does in any given "extreme" genre.Saws grind on forcing
underdeveloped lungs to gasp their first breaths of tainted air.
The brthing comes in a barrage of distortion and rumbling noize.
Machines beep to show hints of a pulse. What comes fourth through
the womb is a grotesque Frankenstein's monster of a creature with
the umbilical chord wrapped around the neck.A failed attempt at
an early suicide or late abortion. The entire track takes on a
mourning quality. Not for the loss of a child, but a sympathy
for the disfigured wretch as it enters the cruelest of worlds.
Dark, haunting, pondering ambience brings it all to an empty close.
V: METHODS OF POSSESSION:
Live wires and rustling scrap metal blend over rising
synths and deep piano keys.Angst ridden screams bring some attitude
back in the mix adding a threatening and urgent overtone to the peice.
Like a madman thrashing about a room full of debris and broken machines
screaming to himself at the loss of a love gone wrong."She was so vain"
echoing through an air filled with self loathing until the fit of rage
winds down to a ghostly crawl of funeral synths floating on and outwards.
VI: WRAPPED IN THE WARM SHEETS OF MOTHER LOVE:
Harsh noize and static joined with some of the most truly disturbing
samples I have heared in some time. One mans recollection of abuse,
molestation,Incest and rape at the hands of his own Mother in glorious
fucked up detail. His description of the smell on his hands really add
to the sickness of past pedophilia.Hell is home.Home is where the hurt
is.
VII: OBSESSION INTERMEZZO II:
Beautiful dark ambient synths echo through a cavern of dripping
liquid. The ballad of a man who has been drivin insane by an obsession
with something he can not have.Hardly audible whispers and ramblings
as he reflects in a pitch black empty room.Deep music for contemplating
murder and revenge. The scene in a film right before the guy "gets" the
girl.
VIII: WOMB WORSHIP:
The final track is probably the harshest and a bit of a return to the
earlier HUMAN LARVAE sound we have all grown to know and love.Deep synths
pulse among a warm ambience of buzzing noize.Razor sharp Death Industrial
percussion and aggitated screams ringing out over a factory of buzz saws
and pounding mortar fire bass rythyms.A lengthy track of filth and violence.
Lyrics concerning further obsessions and torments.Bare feet on broken glass.
Vulnerability turning into a love of pain.Embracing extinction with repeated
screams of the words "Death wish".Self destruction has never sounded so good.
All becomes a mass of noize and more noize mocking drumming.A fitting end to
a chaotic trip through the mind of a man pushed beyond his limits.
FANS OF SHP/SHOCK FRONTIER/THE VOMIT ARSONIST/ETC: BE SURE TO GET
A COPY AND SOON AS THIS IS A PRETTY LIMITED RELEASE, BUT WELL WORTH
TRACKING DOWN.
9/10
