I.) THANATOS:
This is basically an introduction into Armageddon.A sonic
boom of harsh deep distortion filled with a quaking undercurrent,
setting a basic rythm of sorts.Electronics sound like brass horns
signaling a time of war.Or perhaps Gabrial finally decided to sound
that ancient trumpet of his.Apocalyptic spoken samples similar to
those in many GNAW THEIR TONGUES tracks help to make a point of the
severity of what's to come.Punishing waves of black static swarm
overhead and blot out the skies as a sign that it has begun.
II.) SPIRITS:
Multiple layers of lo-fi noize gather and fester into a living disease.
Next we are molested by huge blasts of harsh static covering up distorted
metallic pounding as if trying to hide a terrible secret.Rythms struggle
to catch their breath in the hot smoke of burning air.A massive composite
golem awakens and rises from out of the deep.It's teeth and nails a mess
of mangled barbed wire.It's breath a hiss of rust and it's body a monstrous
Frankenstein composed of fallen structures, sharp shrapnel and corroded metal.
This living weapon them proceeds to trample all it it's path with no emotion
and even less remorse.Vocals that sound like early DARKTHRONE but sung with
the pace and delivery of early VON take the listener by surprise.At first they
really through me off as they are not filtered through any effects at all as
is almost always the case in this genre.Raw and abrassive to an extreme.It might
take some getting used to and sound odd at first...but what's the point of music
if it's all the same shit?Layer upon layer of controlled distortion and feedback
spread through your veins like sickle cells attacking all balance and order.This
is some seriously brutal stuff.Misanthropic to the point of genocide.Once again
trumpets of war blare loud as panzer tanks roll in a clean up.Judgement day
mother fuckers.
III.) CRIME:
Deep bass movements that have more in common with Doom Metal than death industrial
infiltrate like a foreign sickness.Wailing lead guitars howl like ravenous wolves
set free to run rampant across lands once dominated by civilization.Back-masked
synths mimicking distorted guitars or perhaps vice versa add a melancholic vibe
to the whole piece.Downtuned vocals come as depressive chants and amp up the sense
of sadness and mourning to a point that Depressive Black Metal bands would be envious.
Mid-tempo drums echo through endless vaults of despondent woe.Massive waves of guitar
doom in generous amounts of distortion blanket the land as blackened vocals billow fourth
like smoke from countless chimneys.Even with all of this FURY 161 manages to make this
sound absolutley beautiful.There is so much emotion put into this that one can hardly
bare it.The painful sting of every tragedy ever witnessed in human history being remembered
by every man, woman and child in unison.
IV.) OPEN WIDE:
The entire mood makes a complete change.Distorted industrial drum loops stomp in a
mid-paced semi-break-beat fury.Walls of distortion like raging rapids and ashen
vocals in a thick air of bone-dust and death.This is really similar to a lot of
TREPANERINGSRITUALEN but with the sonic decay of DEATHSTENCH or a denser version
of DEMONOLOGISTS.Winds of armageddon spill out as a mawing void opens wide.Crunching
drums return louder this time.It sounds like endless rows of troops marching through
end time destruction.Armed to the teeth.Teeth they bare in rage and purpose.
V.) RAGE:
Synths moan as they lurk in distorted depths.Cymbals shatter any peace that was left
in the air as giant riffs churn out blackened vibes of slow death and decay.The vocals
sound fucking horrid and come in raspy croaks of pure raw rage.Dark ambience dwells in
the distance as if monitoring the entire proceding with a twisted grin.It is as if FURY
161 textured this with 100% concentrated hatred.Disgust and contempt.We all get pissed
the fuck off at some point or another, and some of us even have to seek "professional
help" for our anger issues...But FURY 161 are beyond any level of "help" anyone could
ever provide.These guys are death-row serious and looking to take out every mother
fucker they can before execution day.
VI.) BLACK HEART ATTACK:
Dissonant violins play on woefull strings joined by huge orchestral synths smeared
with static.Mighty riffs of blackened doom crank out shaking each valley and hillside.
Imagine the despondent dirges of FUNERARY CALL and WOLVSERPENT mixed with the destructive harshness of ADERLATING.Strange glass-like sounds linger in the distance
as glacial riffs drift on and die out.All this was merely an intro into the second movement.
Hard industrial drums with a static crunch blast on joined by epic synths and symphonic strings.
A layer of distortion cloaks all like a pale mist that just sort of exists but never overtakes
or takes away from the other sounds present.Dreary leads lurk around in a shambling existence
and a second blast of industrial drumming accompanies the first.Huge booms like tribal drums
of war played by native machines.This sounds like something you could charge into battle to.
There are arangements and melodies burried here that sound like more mainstream industrial
or even symphonic black metal..Only they are totally corrupted just by presentation and the
sounds that accompany them.It's like FURY 161 is deconstructing popular music and feeding it
to the underground in triumphant glory.
VII.) ARMAGEDDONS MAW:
This track comes as a complete onslaught..Low quiet bass serves as a misleading little intro
and then we are cast down into pits of endless destruction.There is a lot going on here to
fuck up the listener.Earth ending static and distortion like the world is being split down
the middle.Mechanical noize like the heavy lowering of gates to deploy the troops of holocaust.
The heavy footfalls of a billion pairs of combat boots running across this battlefield
that was once our homes and neighborhoods.Vocals like an early 90's scandinavian Black
Metal attack warn us that a storm is coming.If this was just a breeze and the storm has
yet to arrive then you better start praying to your God's and cross your fucking fingers
while they're still attatched to your hands.
VIII.) BURN IT DOWN:
A slow inferno consumes the world in roaring waves of burning static.Drums pound the
like hammers of the Gods falling upon giant anvils.The blacksmiths of stories past
have re-awaken to forge steel out of pure darkness.Putrid vocals puke across the
land like drops of acid corroding and disentigrating all they come in contact with.
The amount of destruction on this album is ungodly.Weird playful tones revel in sick
delight like children playing in a falling rain of blood and gore.Wailing guitar feedback
is unleashed and goes fucking nuts like a drug crazed maniac on his first high after a
long relapse.By the time this passes you will be left wondering how the hell FURY 161
could possibly continue their murderous rampage for three more tracks...What could
possibly be left to destroy after these first eight tracks of pure obliteration?
Your about to find out...
IX.) SAVIOURS:
Regardless of what the title implies...There will be no glorious savior to set the
captives free.Salvation will only come with death and cleansing of the plague on
this world that is humanity.This track fucking stomps and is probably my favorite
on the album.Absolutely punishing hard industrial rythms under clouds of black
static and ripping winds of mass distortion.The vocals are louder here and at least
twice as intense as on previous tracks.I haven't heard anything this pissed and
disgusted in this way since the days of church burnings and grave desecration.
FURY 161 once again sweeps through and inflicts a thourough eradication of every
last remaining life form.This is an apocalyptic crusade lead by a band come to rule
with an iron fist of dominance.Everywhere you look there is nothing but atrocity,
destruction,death and disease.At the end Corvus Rex declares that you are to bow
down...For they are your saviours...Idk guys...You better do as he says...I think
he's serious.
X.) FACE DOWN:
Line up execution style fuckers...That's right, up against the wall.Now kiss
the ground and do as your told if you want this to be as quick and painless
as possible.This one is closer to a more traditional power electronics/death
industrial song.Dense noize and crunching distortion with slight traces of
rythm and tempo.Vocals that hang above the minimal noize in a more traditional
delivery that we have all come to know in love.That being said..FURY 161 still
do this in their own style and their style is simple.Raw and aggressive.Choked
vocals with no effects...Just pure pain and multiple layers and textures..More
than your average band or project would use actually all massed together for
your listening enjoyment,death and annihilation.
XI.) TEARS:
A fitting outro comes as sad violins and moaning sub-bass movements.The hiss
of static and cries of feedback.Murky bass riffs of pure doom and agony tuned
ultra low in drone doom style.Slight hints of distant funeral-paced drumming
and a thick atmosphere of total dread.This entire track feels fucking miserable.
Like having to trudge through a bad day at your wits end.Funeral service synths,
Rattling chains and ground shaking distortion announce that it's time for burial.
As your slowly lowered into the charred soil that remains Corvus Rex says a eulogy
for you and the rest of your deceased race.Countless funerals like this same scene
being copied and multiplied stretch far past the horizon in every direction.The
once beautiful earth is now nothing but a mass grave for you and your kind.
Enjoy the pine-box...Might as well get comfortable.
A REALLY INTERESTING AS WELL AS INTENSE DEBUT...I AM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT
THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR FURY 161...THIS WILL BE A TOUGH ONE TO TOP:

SIDE A.)
I.) LIGHT LEADING LIGHT:
Hard industrial drum rythms set the tone and lead us in.
Creeping bass synths and a second layer of drum blasts
arrive and lead into air raid ambience and moody vocals
like something out of the early Batcave/Deathrock days.
This brings to mind bands like TONES ON TAIL, TEST DEPT
or even early ALIEN SEX FIEND.Murky synth drones and endless
loops.Minimal and complex all at the same time.There is a basic
pace and tempo to the track but it carries with it a multitude
of electronic textures and layers of experimental voyeurism.
Repetitive vocals send you into a sublime trance of euphoria
as hundreds of  signals and pulses rise in a crescendo of electric
indulgence.Total 90's gothic industrial worship with a modern edge
but in no way unoriginal or uninspired.
II.) TELEPATHIC TIMES:
Deep synths play a melancholic melody similar to something
you'd hear from SOFT CELL or the EURYTHMICS if they were
into dark, minimal coldwave.Haunting synth strings stir
up painful memories and reach deep into the soul.Mournful
vocals hang and leave like floating spectres that paint an
even deeper shade of beauty adding to an already overwhelming
canvas.Highly evocative and thought provoking.The title track
drags you down into some very mysterious territory.A place of
recollection in crystal clarity.Like entering an endless corridoor
where everything you have ever forced yourself to forget is projected
on a thousand glowing screens simultaniously.All falls to a slow end
as cold strings wind down and leave us lost within ourselves.
III.) DEAD COMMUNICATION:
No time to cry.Crushing drums packed with static and electronic
fury beat your head into the wall repeatedly like their making a
beat.Hazy and dizzying synths creep like swirling mists.Vocals
really similar to Bruce Lamont's work with CIRCLE OF ANIMALS just
add to the whole surreal vibe this has going for it.Industrial pulses
and stabbing synths prick your ears like needle points in a cruel
communication with your nervous system.Distorted screams in white
walls of static screech like anxious daemons waiting to enter a
new host.The beats break up for a time in hammering stomps and
pick up again joined by a whole new layer of ricketty rythm.
Scraping static claws into your ear cannals as frightened vocals
with hints of insanity and paranoia lead us into a brief movement
of shifting synths and electronic noize bringing side A to a close.

IV.) TRYING TO FORCE A MEMORY:
Warm ambient tones lift us off our feet and take us to a higher state
of being.Nocturnal lifeforms speak and echo on a horizon of looped low
static.Spoken word vocals in with a hint of dark sarcasm tell of evolution
and other worlds.Knives of ice gently caress your ears.A growing resonance
builds in slow motion as the vocalist continues to lecture himself on subjects
the waking world blindly ignore.Everything takes on a much darker tone as time
goes by and dim light fades.Steady beats climb out of shadowy depths and cosmic
synths rise like a mothership ready for take-off.OPPONENTS always has a way of
ascending the listener into distant planes of existence and this is a prime
example of their ability to do just that.Industrial beats and slight feedback
lift us into the heavens.Enjoy the view.
V.) RUN:
Deep pulsing synth rythms grind into your mind.Sharp gusts of noize and whirling
weirdness join the party with a big fucking grin.Next comes booming industrial
stomps and spacey keyboards.Vocals inbetween spoken and lazily sung add a whole
new attitude to the mix.A myriad of electronic experimentation perfectly timed
and controlled crank the volume past ten and lead us into some really nicely
executed transitions before it all picks up once again.For some reason this
just feels really moody to me right now.I can't help but pick up on a strong
post-punk influence here more than before.OPPONENTS seem to have formed in
the wrong decade.Or maybe they are just oldschool purists.Either way it works
out for me.
VI.) I'LL BE YOUR GOVERNMENT (SEPERATE THE EQUAL):
Razor sharp synths saw your skull in half.Rumbling pulses and hazy static.A
mid-tempo industrial rythm curb stomps your ass over and over as vocals hidden
behind walls of reverb and delay hang around in the air.Synths stuck in repeat
form electric, melodic drones.This reminds me of PIGFACE as it just feels like
a bunch of dudes collaborating in an all out jam session.The repeating ynthesizers
almost sound like what you would hear on one of PINK FLOYD's instrumental interludes.
From here it all turns into a short but heavy outro leading it all into a really
fitting end.OPPONENTS came in a campaign of conquest...Conquest achieved.
ADD SOME DIVERSITY TO YOUR RECORD COLLECTION..A GREAT ALBUM FOR NOIZE FANS,
RIVET-HEADS,PSYCHEDELIC ELECTRO GUYS STILL LIVING WITH THEIR MOTHERS AND
COLLECTORS OF ANYTHING STRANGE OR DIFFERENT IN GENERAL AS WELL AS MANY OTHERS:

I.) DAMNUM MINATUM:
Slow rumbling noize and harsh blasts of assualting white hot steam.
Faces melt and become a pus-like substance as the ground quakes violently
in dense waves of sub-sonic darkness.Clanging death industrial percussions
escort the vocalist to a throne at the center of absolute chaos.Robed in
filth and speaking with a forked tongue of hate John Paul Whetzel begins
to melt faces as well.Blackend croaks spew fourth like rotten blood and
vomit bursting from a bolted casket.Monolithic death drones roll out in
a sea of bones, flesh and decay.The vocals are similar to LEVIATHAN as
they come in cracking wheezes and stay low to the filthy ground.A cacophony
of doom riffs, harsh noize and dread smeared anguish.The vocals begin to
become rabid and come in cluttered strikes with a fierceness as everything
builds into a swirling mass.A few short screams of panic.Survivors minimal.
II.) TEMPLES OF DUST (FEATURING ALAN DUBIN):
Low feedback and lower dense shifting noize as ritual bells chime.The air has
been purified so that it may be corrupted fully.Like a rape of virgins on an
altar for Satan.For almost ten minutes this is what must be endured.Carrion
crows and ravens sing in delight as they wait impatiently for whatever morsels
may remain.Invocations and incantations begin.Alan Dubin who I would hope you
would be familiar with via his work with the almighty KHANATE screams in his
wretched trademark manner.If for some fucking reason you have not heard KHANATE
imagine EYEHATEGOD meets GRAVES AT SEA meets BURNING WITCH and multiply the
sheer magnitude of that by ten.This is the soundtrack to total burning annihilation
of all that has ever mattered to you.The music it'self is a fucking monstrous
aboination of sound and vocals of this caliber add a whole new layer of pain to
the mix.Flocks of deathbirds gather where there were only a few lone scavengers
before and form a choir as they chant on diseased wings.Crushing ultra-heavy death
industrial percussions pound your skull into oblivion but never let you drift off
to any state of peace.DEATHSTENCH would much rather delight in the symptoms of your
suffering and witness every horrible detail.Other than a vessel for ritual and a
tool for their amusement...You are nothing to them and will soon be, as Alan Dubin
repeats almost in mockery...FORGOTTEN...

SIDE B.) TREPANERINGSRITUALEN:
III.) AKALLAN-MIMIR:
The TREPANERINGSRITUALEN or (T.R.P. for short) side start out much quieter than
the holocaust DEATHSTENCH puts us through.Lo-fi cavernous rumblings like a tribal
pulse deep in the heart of a darkened jungle.A place so dense that light can not
filter through the trees.The air is soiled with the feeling that something unholy
or unnatural is comming.An evil anticipation bleeds into every pore and leaves you
anxious and jumping at shadows.Ritual chanting in a foreign tongue begins as pounding
metallic movements swirl from every darkened corner of the room.Minimal to the point
it's haunting.Like an old asylum stripped bare of what it once held...Only traces of
past torments remain...Surgical utensils on a rusted table and a stained operating table
in the enter of the room...Thats what I mean by "Minimal" when refering to this track.
Ritual death industrial to conjure daemons from black dimmensions.All fades to near
silence for a moment then small fires begin to rise softly as they murder kindling.
Dark synth ambience soon eclipses any light the fires brought as it pours into your
senses while mesmerizing you in a trancelike state.Punishing industrial drums ring
in your ears as this takes more of a STEEL HOOK PROSTHESES meets THE VOMIT ARSONIST
sort of turn.Halfway through this Hell darkness grows until it smothers all in it's
wake and rids the air of anything breathable.Tribal rythms bring an all new type of
heaviness to the mix as pitch black vocals recite verses of pure evil.Layered vocals
like multiple voices in your head provoke and intimidate.The synths have become tendrils
that stretch over the heavens and pluck the stars from the sky.This sounds like primeval
darkness growing over the entire globe.Primitive and hard as stone.
THE MOST EXCELLENT CHOICES OF BANDS TO PAIR ON A SPLIT RELEASE IN
RECENT MEMORY. THE DARKEST DEATH INDUSTRIAL THE UNDERGROUND HAS TO
OFFER POISONED WITH A BLACK METAL ATTITUDE AND SET LOOSE ON A BLIND
PUBLIC:

I.) CHALICE OV MAGGOTS:
we begin with booming sub-sonic distortion in pitch black layers.
Similar to the minimal death industrial of BRIGHTER DEATH NOW.
Churning distortion rolls out at a funeral pace bringing slow
death and injecting a deadly pestillence into the atmosphere.
Everything is beyond bleak and cloaked in a black mass of total
despair.Rot and bile fill the air in a thick ashen haze.The very
sound of the true essence of humanity.Dying breaths wheeze through
an Iron lung in slow painful exhalations.The remaining corpse will
soon be nothing but a chalice of maggots.
II.) BLOOD ON BLACK BOOKS:
Immense rumbling distorted thunder.A sweeping dense darkness veils
the land..blocking out all light forever.The only thing thats left
for you is endless isolation imprissoned in a crypt of your own
fears and filth.Like field recordings from the edge of the world.
Vast and empty save for the eternal expanding blackness of time
and space.Glacial paced deep rythms drift out and onward dragging
you with them into the far depths of nowhere.Menacing everpresent
vibrations to lure you to a place of no return.
III.) NEKROBLOODRITUAL:
Further explorations into eclipsing night are broken by distorted
guitar drones that sound like thunder penetrating the skyline in
mercyless rape.The ultra thick atmosphere is still present and is
showing no signs of departure.Vocals come as bursts of hissing
distortion that rise like smoke from violent volcanoes.Far in
the distance the sounds of suffering and moaning cling in the
air.This is the sound of death in slow agony.The combination
of crumbling guitar drones and inhuman vocals brings to mind
ADERLATING at times though this is a different approach to
such darkness.The mix of black metal elements without everything
sounding brittle and "tiny" is a great accomplishment.This sounds
huge like a spiraling vortex of hate come to swallow the world whole.
SIDE B.) "BURIAL EVOCATIONS:
IV.) DEATH THROES:
Cavernous black ambience pours in through the cracks in the floorboards
and any other entry it manages to find.The cracking of rotting wood and
mass decay joins the symphony of sickness.A pounding bass lines throb toY
add pace and keep the decomposition going.Chanting voices in performance
of black rituals lead us into the next track as DEATHSTENCH invokes yet
another daemonic force to further our destruction.
V.) DESECRATION OF THE HOST:
Distant metallic percussion in traditional death industrial fashion joined
by whispering voices that twist like serpents offering sin and debauchery.
Huge doom riffs churn out backed by minimal percussion and tormented voices.
The riffs themselves just reek of doom and death worship.Daemons from within
rise in attempt to forcefully take control.They speak through a mouth of shit
and vomit in representation of what they think of your existence.Everything
builds and gains momentum in a complete take over of your disgusting temple.
Your mind is overthrown and laid to waste along with any sanity that remained.
Towards the end all is a crescendo of evil blackened death drone and dense
death industrial.Growling entities with inhuman voices and a few panic filled
screams and moans end it all in a mess of blood and guts.
VI.) BURNING OV ENTRAILS:
All that remains of your life is brought fourth to a rumbling furnace.
A low inferno awakens and eagerly devours your mutilated carcass.A quiet
shifting and pounding makes it's presence known as bones are grinded to
dust and powder.Hammering distant drums fill the air like nails being
hammered into endless rows of caskets.This sounds like a behind the
scenes look at a crematorium or similar disposal unit.We will all meet
the same end sooner or later.DEATHSTENCH is simply reminding us of whats
to come.All ends with the roaring of flesh eating fire and rising smoke.

Many collaborative albums often sound one sided...It's as
is one of the artists takes the lead and claims dominance
over the entire work.Another common issue is they turn out
sounding like a rushed afterthought.It seems like some people
just do not truly comprehend the concept of what a collaboration
actually is.Often they end up chaotic and unorganized as well
which can work great for a harsh noize project but not so much
for artists in many other genres.In this case howerver..NONE of
this is an issue at all.Both projects blend together in perfect
unison becoming a new entity composed of aspects of each other.
Also they manage to accomplish a true collaborative effort in
every sense of the word.Both artists agreed on what they wished
to create and made it happen without ignoring the smallest detail.
Joined in an audio intercourse of sorts...This is what they birthed.
I.) VORTICES:
Low rising of sounds build as the seconds pass.In this piece we have
dark ambience synths that mimic great ocean waves crashing against the
rocks as if knocking on doors that have long been shut to all humanity.
After being battered by great force they finally  open like the cradle
of life...Bringing about acid tears that sting like the embers of a tall
fire.This entire track soaks you from head to toe with a sense of yearning.
Causing your flesh to awaken into the upmost realms of light.It feels almost
electric as it makes your skin tingle as if serpents are winding across your body.
It raises the hairs on the back of your neck with it's roaring winds and haunting
synths.This almost sounds like screams of the earth itself as it's eyes awaken from
centuries of slumber.The song lingers with and within you as a pulse in your ears long
after it closes.Rumbles and vibrations are like that of a rushing river through your veins.
Listen closely as it enlightens you revealing the secrets it holds.Shifts in direction tie in
perfectly.Not distrupting but adding to the experiance that is building evermore with distorted
white noise as it begins descending across the land filling every corner and depth with it's
ever changing essence.
II.) SCORCHED HYMNAL:
It's that moment when all the world seems to spin and spin and soon you can't tell whats
up or down.Unsure of just whats reeling you to the ground and what ever music may be heard
is so warped and stretched like a wonderous dream that you lose all account of your senses.
While in this unfamiliar place it almost scares you...Yet you find yourself hipnotized by the
chimes of organs and piano like noises filling and seeping into your pores.This almost reminds
me of that old story of when Faust met the devil in a dark valley next to a rotting tree...Or so
it's been told...No one truly knows but songs like these bare many secrets.But if you desire to
aquire you shall recieve it's sorrowful truths.All joyful memoirs that had once been have been
scorched long ago.The effects used on this beautiful drone sound like they are being flowed through
a massive tube of flangers and other cosmic sounds.All narrows in just as well as surounds giving you
it's full attention.Enwreathing you like pure silk running across your skin...Only to soon tightly
smother you as you dream into death.
III.) MISERERE NOBIS:
When I listen to this my mind feels like it's falling...Falling like tears slowly rolling off of
the warm cheeks of a young girl.She feels hopeless and determined all at once as she faces a battle
with hard roads ahead.It's almost like you can hear her gasping as she struggles but can not catch
enough breath...Even with all of this she is still standing.Afflicted with misery at the edge of the
world.She curls her toes as she closes her eyes waiting in anticipation of her own demise.Rushing winds
rock her to a sway and you can almost hear the rustling of the tree leaves and the whisling of winds running
through the tall grass.She now opens her eyes and with a swift breath throws her body down.Tragically she did
not fall far enough.She now dies slowly in agony  as her lungs flood with blood  and her breathing becomes a
panicked wheeze...Death stands before her giving no aid nor a quick ending...But watches with a cruel, crude
grimace as her blood shot eyes bleed tears...This was what I envisioned when I let the sounds of this amazing
track drown the world around me and take me to alternate or perhaps past lives deep within the mind.If a song
or composition can do that...The artists responsible for it's creation have really accomplished something.
TRANCENDING IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT TWO BEINGS JOIN INTO
ONE SOLID ENTITY.THIS IS A LIMITED RELEASE.DON'T MISS IT:

I.) THE ABSORBING GHOST I:
Quiet winds gather...Dense noize filled ambience opens and expands as an
infinite gaping maw.Electronic pulses fill the air like the nocturnal cries
of many insects.The air is electric and intense.It feels like something big
is on the horizon and approaching your direction.Spectral synths float like
the notes of a haunting chorus.Silent static is present for a few brief moments
and all fades into the second movement.This was merely an introduction.
II.) THE ABSORBING GHOST II:
Large turbine blades circle creating a heavy rythm in the still night air.
As the winds they generate flow outward a thick atmosphere begins to wrestle
for dominance over your senses.Creaking distortion like rocks falling as a
roof begins to collapse in an underground cavern is heard followed by the
shrieks of mournful string instruments.All becomes bathed in total darkness
save for the dim radience of the pale moon.The ground rumbles gently as powerful
cavernous gusts rush through in hurried blasts.Shifting static rises and falls
while violins violently play occult hymnals.Deeply obscured orchestral movements
like trumpets sounding on the horizon bleed out like a rising red sun and bring
about a new day.
III.) SIEGE MACHINES I:
Scraping noize over a backdrop of rushing white water rapids and creaking molded
wood.The atmosphere is heavy with ash as militant orchestral movements sound out
a call to arms.Shaking machines begin to arise and awaken.They shamble fourth and
prepare to march in an unexpected assualt against humanity.Waters rise and pour
down with the force of earthwquakes in a dense avalanche of growing noize.There
are so many textures and layers mixed together that words alone can hardly do
this justice.Raging noize in the heat of battle like chariots laying waste to
all in their path in a triumphant display of relentless skill.As loud and harsh
as this is it all feels hazy and soothing in a way.Like a quient apocalypse.The
sheer intensity and immensity of the piece is fucking brilliant.You can really
feel the amount of passion that went in to each individual composition...This
is how it should be done kids...
IV.) SIEGE MACHINES II:
From out of the final rumblings of the first attack we hear high synth notes
harmonizing in a tragic and beautiful melody.Dark ambient strings in a heavy
fog dripping with venom.Malevolent but inviting like gnarled and clawed fingers
of a seductive daemoness beckoning you to come closer.Radient crystals echo
drenched in reverb in a fragile dance.All is cloaked in a dark and stirring
ambience that flows through the air like poisoness vapors.A toxic drug that
intices the listener until they simply can't resist and inhale the fumes of
departure and damnation.
V.) SIEGE MACHINES III:
The final chapter in the siege machines saga begins as a distorted moan accompanied
by white hot hissing steam and a dying heartbeat.Suffocating, smothering clouds of
thick ambience and semi-harsh noize.What was once mere vapors has become a huge wave
of deadly gas to make sure any last survivors will be wiped out forever.This serves
as a great outro and closing piece to the entire section as we begin a new chapter
and enter the next world that CAULBEARER has in store for us.
VI.) SHIPWRECKED CATHEDRALS I:
Distant cymbals crash and echo as deep croaking voices are heard from unseen
creatures.Bubbles rush by as we dive deeper into this strange underwater
soundscape.Beautiful synths rise and fall playfully in every direction.
Imagine that you are exploring the sunken ruins of once great churches
in an Atlantis-esque world and you will get an idea of what kind of atmosphere
is presented here.This sends you deep down into the murky depths of a surreal
world of blu-green wonder.Transcending and stirring as well as uplifting at times.
Tides reach for distant shores as a throbbing pulse thumps into part two.
VII.) SHIPWRECKED CATHEDRALS II:
Piercing high frequencies welcome us into further and darker areas as we explore
without caution.Deep sea creatures speak in tongues unknown to man.Huge waves of
crisp ambient synth work are heard rising and fading with great force.The ground
on the ocean floor begins to quake as the ruins before us slowly crumble into
oblivion.At times this all becomes so loud that your windows rattle while various
items around the room begin to move as if guided by invisible forces.This is very
similar to SKY BURIAL at times but without the spacey cosmic vibe.That being said
this still sounds immense and vast.The ambience grows so thick at times you'll
swear you can reach out and touch it but just before your able to all will slowly
wind down and spiral into the next track or movement.
VIII.) SHIPWRECKED CATHEDRALS III:
Ghosts of sunken ships form a choir of lost souls and moan their endless woes.
Dark and haunting ambient obscurring almost unnoticed high frequency signals.
Shifting undercurrents spin in circles forming tiny vortexes as a crescendo
once again builds.Every track feels like it is building to an epic climax
and then vanishes leaving you disoriented but never dissapointed.Tidal waves
and stormy winds join in a whirlwind of textured sound.Whistling winds whipping
quickly past you until all dies down and reverb laden synths guide us into the
infinite rooms of the afterlife.
IX.) INFINITE ROOMS OF THE AFTERLIFE I:
Somehow peaceful and uneasy all at once.Brittle and beautiful synths amidst
cracking static breezes.Somewhere below all this you can hear a seperate but
fitting synth drone that serves as an excellent canvas for CAULBEARER to paint
their picture of the worlds beyond the spheres of man.This is the audio equivalent
of entering that white light at the end of the tunnel.Without a moments thought of
what may lie ahead we step through the blue gates of death as lifelong questions
are answered in surreal clarity.
X.) INFINITE ROOMS OF THE AFTERLIFE II:
Otherworldy chimes and tones ring through the air as we step into the afterlife.
Low rumbling distortion quietly moves like a still river.Guitars played on clean
strings but filterd through complimenting effects set the mood.And a strange mood
it is.You can almost believe that the source material for this was compiled together
using actual field recordings taken in a place beyond mortal life.Electronics crank
out more strange sounds that don't belong to the world of the living as quiet guitars
blend into calm thought provoking drones.A haze of static and distortion blurs the lines
between states of existence and lifts us into a state of rebirth.Stripping away all traces
of what once was and baptizing us as we become a new being.Lush drones and leaving waves
retrace their steps and vanish back into the silence from whence they came as a final
clean drone closes the album.

THIS IS A STUNING RELEASE ESPECIALLY FOR A DEBUT ALBUM.

OPPOSITION I-VIII:
The tempo has been set and with that arrives a myriad of
lazer pulses and electronic organs and synths.Buzzing and
swirling in spirals in a vast electrical current.Later this
is all followed by low spoken word vocals in alien tones.
The songs range from slow surreal soundscapes to intense
tracks that get faster and faster, making your head spin
in distorted daydream spirals.It is almost a mission trying
to keep up at times since so much electronic weirdness seems
to be going on at once.Floating spheres of static that are
well under control and artistic direction.During this album
we dwell in cybertronic realms of hectic monotrons, deep rythm
driven synths and effects that build and drop but never too far
that the record loses your attention or fully releases you.It holds
you fast in it's devouring worm holes and black space vistas.Chimes draw
you in like the songs of sirens.Bells ring creating deep emotional pulls
that lift you up and set you down in these endless wonders.At times it reminds
me of  the work of SKY BURIAL or something along those lines though this is much
more industrial oriented but there is a similar underlying quality to these long
constructions of other worldly exploration.Drenched in phasers and zooming sounds
make it feel like you're  wondering through multiple dream lands and entering the
gates they contain which lead to many directions beyond the imagination.A chilling
synth-line plays what almost sounds like the main theme from the  original Exorcist
film towads the end of the second track.Just an example of the surprises hidden within
the confines of the OPPONENTS realm.Static drums both low and fast build to a crescendo
from time to time.Instruments that sound ancient and futuristic all at once are present.
It's like songs from a long lost tribe from times past played through a futuristic sound
system.Huge down pours of acid rain seeking out the highesta nd the deepest depths of ones
intellectual mind flood the senses.At other times it is as if you are treading a dark world
in another universe where carnivorous plants dwell and everything has become cloaked in a
warm blackness.Cold at other times takin us to frozen planes where the ground will swallow
you whole and bury you in fridged ice.Zipping synths make your teeth feel like they're being
invaded by itchy denist drills.With this much weird insanity in eight tracks it would be pretty
damn impossible to descrie it all in a review without totally losing your attention.Buzzing hums
and keyboards that mimick electric guitar leads.Deviant and antagonistic martian vocals.Sometimes
sounding like playing old Atari games while tripping the fuck out on acid.I hope you're not the sea
sick type  as this one would really mess you up.This gets to your insides like a strong LSD trip.
The kind that makes you eat your cats alive like they were fried chicken.At certain moments the vocals
are like early David Tibet/CURRENT 93 combined with PYRAMIDS self titled album.This reminds me of the very
moment you build up the insanity and courage to drive a razor blade across your own abdomen.It's one
hell of a rush and so is this.

T.O.M.B. or TOTAL OCCULTIC MECHANICAL BLASPHEMY is
a project consisting of entities that most of us know
only as a shodowy collective of demented individuals.
T.O.M.B. is spearheaded by a single apparition who
travels to God-forsaken places said to be severly
haunted if not totally possessed.Field recordings
are then taken in these places and later manipulated
as well as constructed/deconstructed to create some
of the most original and terrifying blackened noize
to hit the market since STALAGGH.Not only does T.O.M.B.
take field recordings in such areas..They also provoke
and disturb the dead like an open challenge issued to
rise them from slumber and come stand face to face with
their summoners.Contact mics are scraped against crypts
and coffins and steel rods serving as drums and percussion
are relentlessly banged against tombs and crypt doors.
Xesse lies somewhere inbetween the early releases such as
the "Black Crypt Worship" and "Sacrilegium" demos and serves
as a perfect transitional record from the earlier more black
metal oriented sound into the works later to be found on the
"UAG" album from Crucial Blast records to the "Third Wave Holocaust"
C.D. from Malignant records and beyond.

I.) XESSE:
Hissing winds are calling to cruelly wake the dead from their
eternal and most desolate slumber.A voice speaks spewing out
multiple sounds of pain and suffering.Agony and woe.In a rude
awakening comes the sound of chiming ritual bells or perhaps
ancient church bells lost in an endless haunted imprint.The
vocalist's howled moans echo through what sounds like the
dim cavities of a crypt deep in the rotting soul of this
wretched earth.The severly  tormented voice carrys on reaching
the surface of corpse stained soil.You can almost feel the nausea
caused from inhaling the putrid air in such a foul and diseased place.
The opening track most certainly transports you to a world where only
the dead inhabit with nothing but the black winds of death to serve
as company for all eternity.
II.) SILENCE IS SUFFERING:
A massive roaring loudness as great as an apocalyptic storm.This is joined
by an accompanying boom of haunted voices.These dark and twisted natives
of Hell's lower gates intice the listener as they speak through dripping
mouths as their corroded slithering tongues slide across cracked and rotting
teeth.Malice filled laughter is heared all around you like the room is being
overrun by a colony of hatefull mocking daemons.This all makes you feel very
alone and fills your mind with anxious and nervous thoughts of being singled
out to be a victim of torture and possessive penetration from multiple perverse
denizens of damnation at once.Paranoia inducing as you grind your teeth in silent
suffering.I have never really experienced such an intense reaction nor have I been
plagued with such emotions from merely spinning a record.An absolute orgy of torment.
Like a copy of a legit Necronomicon if it were an audio book.This is exquisite noise.
III.)WITHIN THE CIRCLE OF BONES:
There is a certain level of darkness that very few ever get to experience.For those
of us that do.What is the source? Where does it come from? Only and insanely brave or
tragicly foolish individual(s) could dare to take on the task of attempting to put such
a deep darkness to tape.Even fewer could pull it off or at least live to share such an
ordeal.But T.OM.B. has and continues to successfully do this with all the perversity and
morbid indulgence of bottling up the scent of dead girls and marketing it as perfume.
This however is "perfume" for the atmosphere.Something extra to spice up your dwelling
quaters.Taboo and forbidden come to mind.Not just anybody can create sonic soundscapes
that can penatrate the absolute shadow of the soul and with one breath spew it out dead
and wilted.These vocals screech and echo through my mind and this literally changes the
entire feeling of the confines of the area it is housed within.As you listen you recieve
visions of such horrendous atrocities and torments that you almost have to stop the record
just to gather your senses.Just what the fuck were they thinking while forming this circle of
bones??? Nothing positive in any way I'd imagine.Just hear his roaring growls and the grinding
metal of graveyard gates.Listen as powder pours from hollowed out bones.Then tell me that you feel
nothing.Can you? I didn't think so...Pure Audio Negativity.
IV.) THE INHUMAN CONDITION:
Chanting opens this ceremony bringing about multiple textures of
unnatural sound.This sends one deep into trance like thought within
the first few seconds.Feedback and voices  manipulated by each other
swarm like a cloud of black locusts as a dreadful and haunting tempo
builds and grows.Voices of the dead speak forbidden and forgotten
passages purposly corrupting the listener with most unclean effects
of negative ritual incantations.Let them speak to you and douse you
in their blood and venom.Feel the cold inhuman condition of approaching
death and joining their endless numbers for all time.
V.) LUCIFERIAN HOMAGE:
A howling moaning montrosity attempting to hide ghost-like female
choir-esque vocals arrives and haunts the depths of black winds
of damnationA massive machine spins through the abyss tearing all
asunder in a rythm of pain and sufferng.Deep death industrial percussions
vibrate and pound out through empty spaces of low static and rising feedback.
After a short time the voices return weeping out another fallen angel's lament
as deep death growls rush fourth in gusts of black smoke.all vanishes in a fragment
of a second ending the ritual and leaving the atmosphere charged with black static
and electric energy.This is indeed TOTAL OCCULTIC MECHANICAL BLASPHEMY...

I.) TRENCHANT FLESH MONOLITH:
Falling rain and chilling chamber strings along howling arctic winds.
All builds into madness as deep daemonic voices stir up a storm of
annihilating nihilistic harsh noize.Manipulated strands of contaminated
sound assualt the listener in a relentless frenzy.Haunting ambience hides
in the distance but never quite vanishes.The amount of distortion coming
through the speakers is horrendous in the best possible way.A horror-score
quality soundscape being raped by massive walls of HNW-grade chaos.This is
similar to VOMIR and LUSTMORD at the same time.Aural pleasure and pain joined
as one flesh and on a mission to rend yours apart.
II.) CRYSTAL FANGS:
The first thing that comes to mind is: This sounds like fucking GNAW THEIR
TONGUES!!!But this is by no means a rip-off or copy cat at all.Glacial storms
and wall upon wall of distortion along with huge but obscured orchestral
movements and deafening feedback.Warped plagues of life threatening black
noize in a short death sweep.Think Funerary Call and T.O.M.B. if they
were to play and record a live show using SUTEKH HEXEN's equipment.
I know right? Right??!!!
III.) WASH ME IN YOUR BLOOD UNTIL I'M WHITE AS SNOW:
Cold chimes,Creaking ancient doors to cryptic realms of black magick
and necro sorcery and angry winds give way to a landslide of gate
crashing black noize.A flood of sound come to baptize you in filth
and bile and hang you out to dry on steel meat hooks.Stirring symphonies
can be heard dancing and hiding within huge masses of harsh distortion
and feedback that do the same.All noize ceases as a truly beautiful
outro plays a mournful melancholic ballad for the damned.Chills
up and down the spine soon become shivers of excitement as the next
track drags us down into further depths of sadistic insanity.
IV.) ROTTING SABBATH:
Clawing rats violate you by the thousand as screeching metallic-like
feedback pours salt into your freshly bleeding wounds.Projectile blasts
of black vomit splatter the room and everything in it.Deep cutting synths
and howling nocturnal creatures make their presence known as wraiths
robed in grime and disease hover through the air coughing out sounds
of infection and plague.The intensity of NEKRASOV filtered through
the most brutal distortion.However nothing sounds completely lost
(Or at least not in a bad way) as you can clearly and vividly hear
and make out each swirling texture and every fine detail.How these
necrotic alchemists of sonic misery were able to so perfectly find
a flawless balance between two worlds and present it in a cohesive
manner is truly beyond me.
V.) THE MADNESS READER:
The madness reader must be some poor bastard damned to eternal
fucking torment within the confines of a great library deep within
the furthest rings of hell.An intellectual doomed to endlessly read
and reread blurred words of black blood on pages of torn human flesh.
Like a nightmare reality from a Hellraiser film in audio format.
DEMONOLOGISTS craft one horror after another in perfect execution.
Deep rythms and PSYCHO-esque horror ambient smeared in feedback
and feces.Shifting waves of resonating atmosphere and harsh metallic
noize joined in eternal intercourse.Being that DEMONOLOGISTS is made
up of two psychotic members, this is literally a "beast with two backs."
Horrid black metal style screams hiss in pissed off rage.All ends in
abrupt silence.Move the needle.Repeat.Amazing shit here people.

Sole Member Gordon Lazarus will be working under

grim detail.Wether or not you believe in any of the warnings
contained here is totally up to you.Regardless.This is intense
and claustraphobic death industrial drenched in despair and
dread featuring contributions from some of the best artists
the modern underground has to offer.An aural apocalypse to
serve as a soundtrack to man's legacy.
I.) FORCED NEUROTIC DISPLACEMENT:
The hum electronics in the form of a dense fog flows through the
air.Dreary synths create a quiet haunting atmosphere.The warped
vocals of John Stillings hiss in his trademark style.He sounds
like a thousand manipulated needles peircing your ears.All is
slow as hell even for death industrial.Rolling waves of fog and
distorted metallic noize pull everything along like soldiers dragging
a war wagon full of corpses.Shifting tones add a sense of malevolence
and malignancy.John Stillings vocals are louder and less obscured than
in much of his work with STEEL HOOK PROSTHESES.Sampled spoken word peices
add to the overall feeling of anxiety causing the hairs on the back of your
neck to stand straight at attention.Thick textures and ambience create the
feeling of something big on the horizon.A preperation for all out war in
the last days of humanity.The vocals are inhuman and electronic...Souless
against a track full of emotion.Though none of these emotions are pleasent.
Times of joy are nothing but a memory.
II.) ASPHYXIANT COLLAPSE:
A murky haze of churning synth bass flooded with deep vocals. pitch shifted
way down.Another sea of electronic waves flows through the air.Turning machines
cranking out each slow tide like a death industrial generator on auto-pilot.
By no means inviting or welcoming but at the same time "soft" and thought
provoking.We suffer a slow death as U-731 prepares for the task of embalming
all of our fresh corpses.
III.) THE MECHANICS OF EMBALMING:
Seven long minutes of agonizing synth dread, pitch-black ambience and reeling
death industrial.Downtuned samples that almost sound like Pin Head explaining
the process of embalming over flowing dark radience and soft waves of distortion.
A steady pulse pulls us through tides of prophesy as our future state is revealed
in grim detail.Roaring static and distortion build as immense industrial grade
percussions clash in the background.John Stillings delivers some terrifying vocals.
Totally manipulated and fucked up.Raped by machines and molested by effects.As each
bitter sentence ends it is accompanied by air slicing cymbals and slamming metals.
Samples repeat on as if they are trying to provoke a reaction from the listener.
The vocals become more inhuman and robotic as the track persists and the intensity
that U-731 is able to build is remarkable.
IV.) AKTION-FREEDOM/REAKTION-RESISTANCE:
Track four is Gordon Lazarus working alone.A foggy realm cloaked in a surreal haze.
Dark ambience very similar to ABANDONED ASYLUM and artists of that nature.Only this
is injected with paranoia and anxiety.Sampled political speeches echo over the
emptiness and inform the public of the threat of secret societies.Harsh static and
noize like high pressured blasts of water against sheet metal.Crunching distortion
suffocates all as the words "Free and Independent" repeat in cruel mockery.Or perhaps
to get those key words stuck in your mind in hopes that the collective people will
stand up and fight for their very definition.
V.) F.E.M.A. CARE:
Something stirs through the atmosphere as a sampled news report exposes what F.E.M.A. has
been up to behind our backs and under our noses.Building what looks like concentration camps
in odd locations complete with electronic doors, rows of barbed wire fencing and massive
furnaces among other things.Then saying these facilities are to be used for disaster relief
at times and the "war" on drugs at others.Do some research on this subject and come to your
own conclusions; but for the sake of the song and subject matter just try and enjoy this
regardless of your oppinions on the matter.Vocals are delivered by Andrew Grant A.K.A.
THE VOMIT ARSONIST.Here he is in a fucking rage and a half.WAY WAY WAY louder than a lot
of his other work and ten times more pissed the fuck off.Semi harsh distorted synths flow
in strands of despair as Grant screams in absolute anger telling a story from the point
of veiw of somebody taken against their will at gunpoint along with their families to
a friends U.S. government owned and opperated concentration camp.Recollections of home
invasions and being witness to murdered U.S. civillians at the hands of those who are
supposed to be there to protect them.Sampled voices of informants tell of martial law
and other plans big brother may have in store.We are a little over half way in to this
roaring maw of political corruption.Most artists would'nt dare to touch a subject like
this but U-731 is by far not your average project.Harsh ear ripping mind tearing
electronics drone out and slither like coiling serpents.U-731 has come to strike.
VI.) BY ALL MEANS:
The title track is a monolithic thriteen minute display of drifting electronics joined
by sampled political speeches from wars past.Though these events have already unfolded
the whole point of history is to learn from the past.These forboding words may very well
forshadow events to come in our near or distant futures.Building hazy death ambient grows
like a festering boil.Foaming and bubbling as it infects greater areas of the body and claims
all in a slow painful death of total agony.Again Andrew Grant is present and still full of
extreme rage.Bitter nihilistic screams cloud the air in a black mist of hatred and the putrid
stench of bile.Enraged is an understatement.His lyrics are spewed fourth and promptly commanded
rather than sung.Together with U-731 all the artists present have formed an abominable war machine
hell bent on exposing abominations and atrocities already happening or currently being planned the
locked and bolted doors of government facillities.Gordon Lazarus could not have chose a better faculty
to work with in crafting this nightmare.Rallying shouts and cries are heard as Adolf Hitler shouts a
speach in the background.U-731 is NOT affiliated or a part of any Nazi or White Power scenes or movements
however and the use of the sample is merely to draw a parallel to the climax that would surley come if the
subject matter on the album is indeed made a reality.White washed sheets of white noise and heavy distortion
sound along with a massive death march amplify just how serious U-731 are about their cause.Pure Nihilistic
visions of our remaining days.
VII.) SUO GAN/LAST RIGHTS:
The finale arrives in two movements that flow together towards an audio holocaust.Dense frequencies
and distorted wavelengths usher in another long forgotten war centered transmission.The air waves
are soaked in urgency as a lone speaker says his peice concerning the German government circa WWII.
Thick noize floods the air and sucks the oxygen out of the room as distant orchestras play on strings
of despair.All this fades into a beautiful choir singing an old patriot song as thundering bombs burst
through the angelic beauty.A total fucking battlefield in all out war and devestating destruction.The
speakers as well as the windows and everything else in sight quake in an uproar making it all literally
hit home.Pipe organs play a sunday hymnal adding sorrow and beauty in the wake of war.As the album draws
to a close all I can think is with one final bomb blast at the end this release would be absolutly perfect.
BOOM!!!!!!!!! Immediate chills...These guys have accomplished a masterpeice in every sense of the word.

PART I:
NEGRU VODA:
I.) STILL DEATH:
It begins with a low humming that sounds as if you are wandering
through a desolate pathway.Then we come along to the corridoors of
a basement where a morgue is held.Slight sounds of a door
opening and shutting are heard, building suspense and anticipation
for the one who is listening.This is what we will all go through
when we are dead and our bodies remain to be torn open, Violated
and drained of all our essence only to be sewn back together and left
to rot.Now comes low noise that fades and comes hither in ocean waves
to draw you in and they stop leaving you with nothing but a still death.
II.) DIFFERENT LAYERS:
Distorted buzzing with a booming sound gives way to a crack of lightning.
Bursting through and through along with a grinding metallic noise.If rust
ever makes a sound this is it.Like the sound of decaying molecules.This can
really make one unsettled and anxious.Time continues as the differant layers
bind to a rythmn.Most unkind sounds of the rising industrial strain continue.
All this was merely a calm before a coming storm.
III.) DER SCHARFRICHTER:
Vocals begin under superb effects that complement the overall feel and work to
set the mood of the track.Hard but burried industrial like drums take effect
after sometime; adding to the interrogation between two voices.As they answer one
another intensity builds as if it's a guilty heart beating out of ones chest.Anxiety
and paranoia are set off by a sudden burst of screaming.Heavy metallic rods clank
and echo like a siren of impending doom.Vocals continue through noise that some might
find unclear or obscured due to the caotic surroundings but if you listen close they
are there.Now as beats go even faster it's as if you are running for your life through
the madness that surrounds.No matter how fast you go you cannot escape.It is with you
now.You are marked for life and left disfigured like being in a horrific accident.
Even though immense gore is at hand it is still much too inticing to turn away.
IV.) INSIDE THE BROKEN MACHINE:
Pounding  mid-tempo death industrial drumming and air slicing, stabbing harsh noise
like  NEGRU VODA is grinding metal straight into your ear pussies.Sampled vocals
order commands in a foreign tongue as the mid-tempo death stomp continues.A girl
speaks through a distorted screech then speaks like the leader of a covenant dedicated
to noise worship.Inside this broken machine harsh distorted male screaming alarms you
and catch you off guard like a sudden array of sparks raining upon your flesh.Distant
voices speak but never go too far from your suffering as they watch and resume their
torment til further madness arrives.
V.) DISTORTED WARFARE :
Echoed static  builds in a current and is then unhinged to let through vicious vocals
Wrapped in a blurred haze and shoved through distortion.All this comes with really
frantic harsh noise in a relentless massacre.The vocals become manipulated and speak
in strands that echo and vanish in the blink of an eye.I almost pitty those of you who
dare to listen close enough to understand just what is being told under these vibrating pulses.
Clawing white noise that reeks of rust and shoots out like heavy clouded thoughts.At the end it
all leaves you hanging but only to prepare you for what is soon to come when KNOS mans the guns
and pummels you with more rounds of lead and shrapnel.
PART II:
KNOS:
VI.) FASANSFULL:
Low sounds of an echoed clash along what sounds like the cold hard labor
of someone welding under water.A hamering breaks the silence folloewd by
strange insect like clicks, chirps and bursts of steaming white water.
Next comes feedback in the form of slow inhalations that vary and quiver
but in a steady rythm.As the tempo builds it slowly covesr the room like
the heaviest tar that seeps into you as well as pulls you into it's dark
dimmensions.Binding you in its confines.As the track comes to a close it
almost sounds like all the ravaging noise is being echoed through glass
cylinders.Strange but awesome.
VII.) MORDA OFTA:
Warped sounds build as fast as they drop as they prepare for further violence.
Climbing heavy industrial like tones play a game of hide and seek as they swarm
around.Next comes an antagonistic voice calling you into a fleeting dark ambience.
Textured distortion like screeching long rusted nails on a chalk board.Everything
starts to get louder as the minutes progess.Intensity builds as do distorted vocals.
After a while it's as if you have become one with the resonating synth like noises.
Slow growling vocals for a come for a time and then fade.Leaving like a serpent
slithering away ater his deed has been done and all venom has been injected.
VIII.) SLA IHJAL DIG:
Electricity and high voltage rythm inches it's way across the absence.Only to
awaken noise injected machine gun like drum beats that are played with the heavy
sounds of booming war.Through the air metal rings rattle like an old dinner bell
that gives invitation to a twisted man's vocals.I wonder what satisfies this mans
appettite? Crash like stomps weigh heavy above the listener as if this man follows
behind you trying to reel you in to his wretched world with his ways of reason.
Once he has there is only the impending doom of your soul.Rythms attempt to
hynotize you as you are being eaten alive in a commotion that only leaves you
paralyzed.You are left only to hear and nothing else.Crunching metallic jaws
bite hard while pulling you in.Teeth digging deep into your skin.Your mind
unwanting but your helpless body being torn apart and saying otherwise.

IX.) DU HAR FAN INGET ANSIKTE:
This one starts with the anticipation we have come to recognize from
the earlier tracks.Just what will this one hold? Sounds that take over
your mind and hold fast like the clutching hands of a living sillborn
abomination ready to finally truly exist.Deep growling death vocals
commence and it almost sounds like a field recording of an actual
possession.This really gives me chills but i just can't stop listening.
I must have more!! Brutal screams under heavy distortion follow like
the entranced puppets of the daemon like voice.I'll tell you one thing:
You should listen to this one in the dark and let it tear your once peaceful
mind to shreds.The sounds of hellicopter blades slice through the winds and
leave you with a deep dwelling feeling of eerie coldness.Another brutal murder
of sound and we reach the end.
X.) TANK OM JAG VORE EN ELEFANT:
Minimal noise with the sounds of harsh static and chiming bells.All of this
flows through the atmosphere only to be interrupted by a tempo that breaks
all barriers that hold you secure.This is the kind of noise that you can sway
and knod your head to.The type of stuff that is best if you just let it flow
through you like psycic energy.The kind that brings you the sensation of an out
of body experience.Slithering sounds not only crawl but also cut through you like
a knife through your brain waves.This is what hanging in the balance between two
planes of existence at once sounds like.Enjoy the trip.

I.) THE TOMBS OF EMPIRE:
A humming radiant feedback introduces us.As we wait
in patients to see where this is going we are suddenly
pummeled by crashing noize.Harsh distortion and wailing
high end tones usher fourth an aural apocalypse.Grinding
power tools in a haze of destruction.The graves are full
and the tombs offer up their dead as shooting feedback
paints a masterpeice of headsplitting pain on a canvas
of dense sub-bass sound.All blurs into a surreal ambience
and with that the empire has fallen.
II.) FROZEN POSTURES:
Fragile chimes haunt deep winds and stirring ambience.Murky
and forboding like a wind sweept transylvanian forest.All
feels mystic and enriched as if arcane rites and ancient
sorcery have long since carressed these realms.Glacial
paced sheets of icy atmosphere along with brief and sudden
landslides.Perfect music for the ritual chamber.
III.) THE HEARTS RELENT:
Eerie tones filled with rushing distant winds and screeching
bats.Chains rattle through caverns of wet sound.Suddenly the
most evocative stirring synth ambient is heard.Beautiful and
haunting.The sense of sadness is overwelming.Highly emotive
and not at all something I expected to hear from EN NIHIL.
Creatures howl on distant tundras and as swarming bats engage
in conversation.Uplifting and depressing all at once.This is
a true masterpeice that rivals the works of the best known
ambient composers.If this is the heart's relent then the heart
is broken.Mournful and melancholic in the best way possible.
IV.) HUMAN ANIMAL:
Sorrow turns to fury as harsh noize blares out and rockets
light the skyline.Churning sub-bass movement and crackling
noize full of crunch and heaviness.Steam bursts of feedback
illuminate the horizon as deep rythms repeat and NON style
noize cloaked in light distortion pours through the speakers.
Rising and falling strands of bass are present until glitching
frequencies take their place.
V.) FUTILE MAN/THE WEIGHT OF ABSOLUTION:
Futile man takes off where human animal left us wanting more.A
continuation of sorts.Melodic tones in intercourse with massive
distortion and bombastic bass drum blasts.It sounds like an anthem
playing out as a war rages on.Crisp and less aggressive patterns
along with angry harsh noize.This sounds pretty and pissed at the
same time.Not what most people have come to expect from EN NIHIL
but this does not dissapoint.Mangled feedback and a short period
of ultra deep distortion fades as we go into the second movement
of the peice.High howling tones ring through the air for quite
some time.A little too long in my oppinion but not enough to
hinder the album too much.It is rather loud and somewhat annoying
but maybe I'm just in a weird mood.Anyways all this ends and
crackling, well placed bouts of static take place joined by minimal
isolationist soundscapes.As far as composition this album is so far
pretty damn well thought out and executed very well.The remainder
of the track dwells in cold atmosphere and minimal sound ending in
brief drumming that fades into static.
VI.) SOULS TO CEASE:
Again we pick up where we left off.Each track sets up the next
and gives the overall album a great cohesion.This wasn't merely
created it was constructed in brilliant detail.Minimal atmospheres
and that crackling static you get when you turn all the knobs all
the way up turns into cold machine like rythm.Inhuman and without
emotion.Diversity and contrast are what make this album so great.
Harsh crunching distortion peaks then floods the room in an all
out onslaught as the war machine keeps turning.Yeah I know a Black
Sabbath reference in a noize review.Get over it.All souls surely
cease as the percussions grow in volume and scrape at your ears.
Other than that it's all noize at this point.A short attack of
ultra harshness and all dies out in an electronic spiral.
VII.) VULTURE REIGN:
Here death is king.Militant distorted drums march in unison as harsh
ripping noize tears you a new one.Mortar fire annihilates the horizon
and all else in sight and sound.Weird electronic pulses flutter in
brief flashes as extreme hissing noizes stab in feirce repeating
swipes.A total death march in the name of human genocide.There is
a great amount of texture and layering present as all builds to
a dramatic climax and falls to buzzing electronics.
VIII.) THE APPROACHING DARK:
A ten minute duration of darkness.Minimal ambience and deep synths
turn into a pulsating static backed by a metallic rythm.Distorted
as hell but not harsh.Dense and moody.Black storm clouds puffed up
with electricity roll out engulfing all in a blanket of pure night.
Louder as time goes on but still low and gloomy.A blanket of heavy
electronics in an endless drift.Layers of distortion join but without
overpowering the previous textures.Humming like a small generator
used to churn out the storm in waves of billowing black smoke.
IX.) DARKFALL:
Darkness falls taking the form of beautiful chamber ambience.Rich
warm tones played on violin strings hover and dance through low
winds.Neo-classical is not often mentioned in noize reviews but
this is far from your average release.A chanting chorus rides the
winds.Dim death industrial throbbing transports everything along
to it's final resting place.Cymbals ring somewhere far off.All
builds slowly with beauty and elegance until death claims everything
in it's breath stealing silence.
EN NIHIL EXPLORES THE OUTTER FRINGES OF NOIZE AND AMBIENT MUSIC IN
A CONTROLLED EXPERIMENT IF FEROCITY AND BEAUTY:

SIDE A.)
I.) DISSOCIATION:
Harsh blasts of annihilating distortion followed
by brutal waves of peircing high end feedback.A
churning holocaust machine of mayhem.Nails on a
fucking chalkboard noize.Screams distorted to an
extreme over a layer of stirring shoegaze like
ambience filtered through mild distortion.The
vocals are tormented on multiple levels and the
music is harsh as hell but there is an obscured
undercurrent of beauty that refuses not to be
acknowledged.Surreal and hazy daydreams engaged
in intercourse with vivid nightmares.
II.) FISHING HOOKS THROUGH YOUR ORGANS:
Extreme high frequency feedback rings out in
a dizzying array as pounding bursts of distorted
screaming appear and vanish.Glitched out and out
of control.This actually reminds me of SUTCLIFFE
JUGEND at times.A short and to the point demonstration
of pure fury.
III.) WAVES OF FLAMING DESTRUCTION:
Stirring ambience under brittle distortion.Whirring machine
like noize gives way to deep distortion and mangled screams.
Wave after wave of flaming destruction and crackling fire.
Thick and dark like an ashen sky.Hissing steam and smoke
choked rage.A kataklysm of charred life consuming chaos.
You can almost fill the smoke in your lungs and taste the
tar on your tongue.Having an album cover depicting brightly
lighted carnival rides is beyond misleading.Sarcasm and irony
folks.What did you expect from a band called WHITEWATER ORGASM?
whatever it was...A total audio inferno is what you get.Jump in
the furnace and be consumed.
IV.) STRIPPING AWAY MY HUMANITY:
Crunching static and glitched out electronics.Waves of thick
distortion similar to SHOCK FRONTIER.Manipulated distortion
breaks apart and disentegrates like a defective cog in the
machine.Death growls filtered through wavy effects flow like
smoke through pale moon light.Fuzzed up textures of layered
ambience looped and filled with an electric pulse.This segment
sounds a lot like the early minimal noize/industrial projects
like NON or maybe even THROBBING GRISTLE.Deep sub-bass rythms
add more of a pace and a point of direction to the peice.The
diversity of this album is what makes it so good.From total
violence to eerie silence with noteworthy amounts of beauty.
SIDE B.)
V.) INSECTS:
Striking feedback and warped frequencies fall off a cliff into
a chasm of dense distortion.A black underground realm of creeping
insects and nocturnal lifeforms.Shards of sharp static and vocal
roars take command peircing through the walls of sanity and breaking
through into realms of pandemonium.Soaked in anger and frustration.
Sounds like someone has had a really bad year.Dragging steel scrapes
across the floor as the vocals take dominance til sickness grows.
VI.) SICKNESS INSIDE ME:
Harsh feedback in a short lived meltdown.Almost an endurance test
if you have this cranked up loud enough; Which you should.
There is much to explore wihin the confines of this album from
harsh noize oriented murder to deep bass filled distortion and
tear jerking ambient segments.WHITE WATER ORGASM proves that
genre restrictions are a mere suggestion that is better left
ignored.A master of suspense,urgent aggression and veiled
atmospherics.
VII.) HEADS OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN
SCATTERED AROUND THE COURTYARD:
Dim room ambience drifts like a heavy fog.Chimes are heard ringing
like lost memories in the shifting air.A stark contrast from the
previous track.Thick synths swirl like living shadows changing
form and consistancy.All the dreariness of suffering in a cold
hospital bed as a malignant sickness festers and rots inside you.
Reflective tones of past joys tease at the fringes of the mind.
Despondency...and nothing else.
VIII.) INTERNAL BLEEDING:
Another display of beautiful stirring ambience with that signature
shoegaze-esque quality that was present before.All the emotion of
bands like NADJA or SKY BURIAL can be heard.A gentle radiance and
something I really would have never expected before hearing it.
Tidal waves of foam and liquid nearly conqueor all though if you
listen closely there is still much beauty to be found.Strangled,
writhing screams appear again taking me by surprise.If I had to
make a guess on how this would sound using only the song title
as a guide I would have never reached a conclusion that even
comes close to what we have here.Original is not a term often
seen is this genre but WHITEWATER ORGASM has earned the description.

IX.) FLOATING AWAY IN QUIET SOLITUDE:
Claustraphobic harshness injected with electronic weirdness.Brutal
and abrassive vocals in an all out fight to the death with anything
unfortunate enough to be in existence.A short session of complete agony.
X.) WILL I EVER BE ALRIGHT:
Ethereal synths filtered through phasers and other effects form a brilliant
cascade of heartwrenching saddness.Very brief but worth everysecond.I highly
advise that you invest some time in this.Not your average album.
